Central University of Kashmir

The Central University of Kashmir is a state university in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir that offers degrees in Arts, Science, Commerce, Technology, Education, Physical Education, Law, and Management, among others. The university provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in Arts, Science, Commerce, Technology, Management, Computer Science, Home Science, Social Science, and other disciplines. The Central University of Kashmir provides B Voc. in two disciplines, BA LLB at the undergraduate level, Integrated BSc-MSc programmes in four disciplines, Integrated B Ed-MEd, MTech in one discipline, MSc in three disciplines, MA in ten disciplines, MCom, MBA, MTTM, MEd, MPEd, LLM at the postgraduate level, and M Phil.

Central University of Kashmir UG 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for Central University of Kashmir UG Admission 2025 through CUET. Central University of Kashmir UG CUET eligibility criteria 2025 has been mentioned below:

  • Candidates must have passed the class 12 examination or an equivalent examination recognised by the education board, or Senior Secondary (12th standard of the 10+2 system) in any stream from a recognised Education Board.

  • Applicants must have cleared class 12th with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

  • Candidates applying for admission to the Central University of Kashmir UG programme must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

  • The final selection will be based on CUET scores, which will be followed by counselling.

For five years, the Central University of Kashmir provides a variety of undergraduate and integrated courses. According to the basic eligibility criteria, candidates must have at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 from any recognised institution. The courses listed below are described in detail, along with their specialisations.

The following are the Central University of Kashmir course eligibility criteria and the respective subjects’ candidates must choose in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET):

Candidates must have a minimum of 50 percent marks in 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects, and OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates must have 45 percent marks from any recognised board.

Integrated BSc - MSc (Zoology)

Biochemistry/Biology/ Biotechnology

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50 percent marks in Biochemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as one of the main subjects, and OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates must have 45 percent marks from any recognised board.

Integrated BSc - MSc (Biotechnology)

Biochemistry/Biology/ Biotechnology/ Mathematics

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50 percent marks in Biochemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Mathematics as one of the main subjects, and OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates must have 45 percent marks from any recognised board.

B Voc (Retail & Logistic Management)

Arts/Science/Commerce (any stream)

Candidates must have a minimum of 50 percent in 10+2 and a minimum of 45 percent in OBC/SC/ST/PWD from any recognised board.

B Voc (Tourism & Hospitality Management)

Arts/ Science/ Commerce (any stream)

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50 percent, and OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates must have 45 percent from any recognised board.

Central University of Kashmir UG 2025 Application Process

Candidates must first register on the NTA's official website, https://nta.ac.in/. Candidates who are eligible to take the CUET must apply online only. Candidates can apply by following the steps outlined below:

  • Visit the official website of the Central University of Kashmir at https://cukashmircuet.samarth.edu.in/index.php/registration/cuet-user/register or click on the direct link provided below

  • Enter the CUET 'Application Number', 'Date of Birth' and 'Captcha Code' in the Student`s Register Form

  • Click on the option called 'Register'

  • Enter all other details asked and submit the application form.

  • Pay the requisite application form.

  • Take a printout of the application form.

    Central University of Kashmir UG Admission 2025

    Candidates will be admitted to the above courses based on the Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET) administered by NTA. All candidates will be chosen for admission based on the CUET merit list and other University criteria.

    The Central University of Kashmir admits undergraduate students based on their academic performance in the qualifying examination. There will be a CUET Entrance Examination for UG Courses Admission for some undergraduate degree programmes, as admissions will be offered based on the score obtained in the CUET 2025 exam.

    After the CUET UG result 2025 are announced, the University releases the list of shortlisted UG candidates. The merit list will then be made available to all registered candidates. The merit list includes the names and ranks of those who have been shortlisted for the counselling process. Candidates will also be invited to the counselling process based on their position on the admissions merit list.

    In addition, the CUET participating universities will release the CUET 2025 merit list. The merit list identifies candidates who have attained the required cut-off scores and rank and are eligible for counselling. Candidates should be aware that the minimum marks required for related disciplines differ depending on the participating university. Candidates chosen from the CUET 2025 merit list for various undergraduate programmes must attend an online/offline counselling session at a participating university. Finally, the admission selection committee will make the final decision.

    • Admission to various programmes offered by the Central University of Kashmir will be based on the results of the CUET 2025 UG exam.

    • Eligible candidates must apply online at https://cukashmircuet.samarth.edu.in/, as offline applications will not be considered for admission.

    • New users must register on the website by entering their application number, date of birth, and Captch Code. Registered candidates, on the other hand, can log in using their CUET application number and password.

    • While filling out the form, the candidate must ensure that the information entered matches the information on the 10th-grade report card.

    • Applicants can log in to the admission portal using their registered email address

    • Applicants must ensure that the email address entered is active.

    • Candidates are advised to use the most recent version of the Google Chrome browser when completing the application form.

    Hi Dear, as per LPU criteria for BTECH in IT program You need minimum 60% marks in 10+2 apart from that If you are Kashmiri Migrants or belong from North East and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel then you are eligible for 5% relaxation.
