Delhi MBBS Admission 2024

Delhi MBBS Admission 2024 has begun, the registration for the same has ended on March 6, 2024. Admission to the Medical Colleges in Delhi will be granted based on NEET UG score and NEET counselling process. The counselling rounds for Delhi MBBS admission will commence between July and August 2024. NEET 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on May 5 and NEET UG 2024 Result will be out on June 14, 2024. All candidates who wish to appear for the same must satisfy the basic eligibility criteria required to appear for the entrance examination. The official dates for Delhi MBBS admissions 2024 will be published by the concerned authorities in July.

Candidates seeking admission under the state quota lists available at Medical Colleges in Delhi NCR region will have to apply for the Delhi MBBS admission 2024 . Delhi MBBS Admission Eligibility Criteria 2024

Education Qualifications: Passing class 12 and qualifying NEET 2024 is a must for medical aspirants who seek admission in Delhi MBBS and BDS courses. Candidates must also be medically fit to participate in admission. Check details below:

  • Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English must have been part of the curriculum of the student in class 12 for him/her to be eligible for Delhi MBBS and BDS courses.

  • Candidates will have to secure the minimum aggregate marks as per their category i.e. 50% for general candidates, 45% for PH students belonging general category and 40% for reserved category candidates.

  • Candidates who had previously taken admission in BDS/ MBBS courses and failed to pass the first year exams will be considered ineligible for admission to Delhi MBBS and BDS courses.

Nativity/ Domicile Holders: Candidates must have passed class 12 from schools situated in Delhi NCR if they seek admission under the 85% state quota. The board of education in class 12 must have been CBSE, ICSE or JMI.

Nationality: Indian national and OCIs will be eligible to apply for MBBS and BDS courses available in Delhi Medical Colleges .

Age: Candidates applying for Delhi MBBS admissions 2024 must have born between May 7, 1997, and January 1, 2006. A 5-year relaxation is also offered to students belonging to the reserved category.

Delhi MBBS Admission Application Process 2024

Delhi MBBS and BDS application 2024 can be filled online if aspirants seek admission to the state’s medical colleges. See the steps below in order to apply:

Registration: In order to register for Delhi MBBS admission 2024 will have to provide their contact details and NEET 2024 details in order to register. Candidates will also have to agree to the terms and conditions of Delhi MBBS and BDS admissions in order to register for choice filling, locking and counselling process 2024.

Personal Details: After agreeing to the terms, candidates will have to provide personal details, academic details, and security questions in order to submit and start the procedure. The details filled in the Delhi MBBS and BDS application must be the same as the details of the candidate in NEET application form. Candidates can then confirm their participation by clicking on the ‘confirm registration’ button. A printout of the form is essential for the future process.

Choice Filling: On completing the Delhi MBBS and BDS registration procedure successfully, candidates will be able to see the colleges available. They can select from these colleges and their preferred courses as seats will be allocated to them as per their choice list. The choices can also be changed before each seat allocation round before locking the choices. However, if the candidates have locked the choices, changes in the choice list will not be permitted.

Payment of Application Fees: After completing the above steps. Candidates will have to pay the Delhi MBBS and BDS application fees in order to confirm their participation.

  • Candidates must fulfill the NEET-UG 2024 cut-off requirements in order to be eligible for AIQ counselling. The All India Quota (AIQ) Counseling process is open to those who meet the qualifying requirements. The NEET-UG 2024 exam results are the only factor used to determine selection under AIQ.
  • In order to get admission in the medical colleges of Delhi,  it is necessary to register with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates can select the colleges and courses they want to take after finishing the registration process. Prioritizing colleges according to personal preferences is encouraged.
