The WB JELET 2023 document verification is done to verify the candidate's credentials, identification, and other essential information. Candidates participating in the WB JELET counselling 2023 must be aware of the list of documents that they must hold and produce during the document verification round. Candidates need to bring an educational certificate, caste certificate, passport-size photograph, WB JELET rank card, etc. to the counselling process.

List of Documents Required for WB JELET Counselling 2023

Candidates can go through the list of documents required for WB JELET counselling 2023 given below and make sure that these documents must be provided in physical form for admission reporting at the designated institute as well as in scanned format for uploading on the portal.  When reporting to the designated institute, students are to bring at least two photocopies of each of the documents required for the WB JELET 2023 counselling for processing.

  • Provisional Seat Allotment Letter and Rank card.
  • Class 10th admit card/birth certificate for verification of date of birth.
  • Mark sheet of all semesters of Diploma (if available)/B.Sc
  • Provisional Seat Allotment Letter and Rank card.
  • Candidates should be aware that the responsible admission official of the assigned Institute will need their Unique Allotment ID (from the candidate's login) at the final stage of admission.
  • W.B Domicile Candidates must bring their domicile certificate or they can also produce a reserved category certificate issued by the appropriate Authority of the Govt. of W.B) in lieu of the required domicile certificate (if they don’t have one). In such case, if the category certificate is rejected during verification, then domicile status will also be converted to non-West Bengal.
  • SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates must bring their Respective category certificate
  • Candidates having OBC certificates (NCL) issued before 31.12.2009 should have them revalidated by the issuing authority, with either the OBC-A(NCL) or OBC-B(NCL) category clearly mentioned
  • NCL (Non Creamy Layer) Certificate has to be issued on or after 01.04.2023 by the competent authority.

Note - Candidate must also carry a mobile phone with the mobile number registered during making the application to receive OTP at the final stage of admission confirmation.

WB JELET 2023 Counselling Process

WB JELET counselling 2023 is conducted in three rounds - two regular rounds and one mop-up round. Candidates can go through the detailed WB JELET counselling process given below -

Step 1: WB JELET 2023 Counselling Registration

To register, candidates must visit the JELET website and select the WB JELET 2023 Counseling Registration link. Applicants must provide information such as their name, roll number, date of birth, application number, email address, mobile number, etc. while registering. After providing their information, the applicants must additionally pay the registration fees using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Step 2: WB JELET Choice Filling 2023

During the WB JELET 2023 choice-filling process, applicants are asked to list their top choices for college and course in order of importance based on which the seat allotment is done.

Step 3: WB JELET 2023 Seat Allotment

The WBJEE 2023 seat allotment result is released round-wise in online mode. Candidates will be given seats according to their preference, rank, and the availability of seats.

Step 4: Reporting to Assigned College

After the seat allotment is done applicants must report to their designated college. During that, the WB JELET 2023 document verification will be done by the college authorities. Candidates must check their documentation and pay the necessary fees in order to confirm their admittance. If they don't reserve a seat within the specified period, admission will be revoked.
