WB JELET 2025

WB JELET 2025 Exam will be conducted on June 29, 2025, by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for providing admission to bachelor's degree programmes in Engineering, Technology, or Pharmacy at various private and government WB JELET Participating Colleges 2025. Only the WB JELET 2025 qualified candidates are granted admission into the second year (third semester). WB JELET 2025 Application Form will be released by February 8, 2025. and candidates who fill out the application form within the deadline will be issued the WB JELET Admit Card 2025 by June 21, 2025. 

WB JELET exam will be conducted for 2 hours in offline (paper) based mode once a year. WB JELET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Before applying for the examination, candidates could review the WB JELET eligibility criteria 2025. Only Indian citizens can apply for WB JELET. There is no upper age limit for Engineering, Technology, and Pharmacy Diploma holders, while the upper age limit for B.Sc holders is 27 years, and for Marine Engineering Diploma holders, it is 25 years, both as of December 31st of the examination year. Diploma candidates must possess a relevant diploma with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) from an AICTE-recognized institution, and those seeking admission to Jadavpur University need a 60% aggregate (45% for reserved categories). B.Sc holders must have a degree from a recognized institute with at least 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories), along with a Class 12 completion and mathematics major. If admitted, they must also pass Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Graphics/Drawing, in addition to second-year subjects. However, B.Sc degree holders are not eligible for the Pharmacy program or admission to Jadavpur University.

WB JELET Application Form 2025

 In order to fill the WB JELET application form 2025 candidates have to first register themselves and then log in using their credentials. To complete the WB JELET Application Form 2025, candidates should first register by providing a valid email address, cellphone number, name, parent's names, date of birth, and communication address. After registration, they need to log in with their credentials to fill out their personal, academic, and communication details. The next step involves uploading a photograph and signature in the specified format. Candidates must then pay an application fee of Rs. 500 online, excluding bank charges. Finally, they should print the confirmation page to complete the application process.

WB JELET Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates willing to take the entrance exam should familiarise themselves with the WB JELET 2025 exam pattern. Engineering and technology diploma holders are not required to attempt questions from the Mathematics section, which is only reserved for the B.Sc degree holders. The examination will be conducted offline using OMR sheets and lasts for 2 hours. It consists of one paper featuring Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and is worth a total of 100 marks. The medium of the exam is English.

WB JELET 2025 Result will be released by August 2, 2025, by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board in the form of a rank card. The candidates will need to log in with the necessary credentials in order to view the WB JELET 2025 result. The result of WBJEE JELET 2025 will not be released by the authorities through any other channel. The WBJEE JELET 2025 result will include the scores and ranks received in the entrance exam. 

WB JELET Counselling 2025

WB JELET counselling 2025 process will tentatively commence from September 2025. Only candidates who have qualified for WB JELET 2025 exam will be eligible for WB JELET 2025 counselling process. Candidates will need to register, pay the required fee, and indicate their preferred courses and colleges during the WB JELET counselling process 2025. Different rounds of counselling will have their own WBJEE JELET 2025 seat allotment results announced. Is there any negative marking in the WB JELET 2025 exam?

The candidate will receive one mark for each correct answer in the WB JELET 2025 exam. For each incorrect answer, one-quarter of a point will be deducted in the WB JELET 2025 exam. There are no marks for unanswered questions. If more than one response is marked in a single question, the question is considered incorrect, and 0.25 marks are deducted.

What is the application fee for the WB JELET 2025 exam?

Yes, candidates from another state can apply to Jadavpur University but there are certain conditions that need to be fulfilled by the candidates they need to be eligible for reserved seats and 90% of the seats secured by general candidates have to be the residents of West Bengal.
