Do’s after AP EAMCET 2024 Seat Allotment

After checking the seat allotment result of AP EAMCET 2024 , here are certain activities that the candidates are required to follow –

  • If you are content with the allotted institute, proceed with the online self-reporting process first and download the provisional seat allotment letter. It is compulsory to carry the provisional seat allotment letter at the time of physical reporting at the institute

  • Candidates proceeding with physical reporting must keep in mind that it is necessary to carry the original and Xerox copies of all documents that were uploaded at the time of registration

  • The seat allotment letter mentions the total first-year fee that has to be paid, and the candidates need to pay the fee directly at the institute

  • Candidates who did not get an allotment in the first round can wait for the final phase of counselling or proceed with the Category B (management quota) admission process

  • If you are not satisfied with the college allotted in Round 1, you can decline the allotment and wait for the final phase of counselling. Once rejected, the seat cannot be further retained

  • If you are in anticipation of a better course option in final phase counselling, make sure that you check the AP EAMCET cutoff and exercise the web options accordingly

  • If you did not secure an allotment as per first choice in Round 1, you can either accept the seat or wait for the final phase of counselling

  • CSE admission in top colleges gets closed mostly in Round 1, and the chances of admission in the final phase of counselling are limited. Therefore, the candidates need to exercise the web options carefully

  • If your goal is to secure CSE admission in the top institutes and you are unable to secure a seat in Round 1 counselling, it is advisable to opt for Category B (Management Quota) admission.

  • You can also get in touch with CollegeDekho experts on the helpline number 1800-572-9877 for admission assistance

Don’ts after AP EAMCET 2024 Seat Allotment

Here are the activities that the candidates must strictly refrain from after the AP EAMCET 2024 seat allotment –

  • It is advisable not to wait till the last date to complete the reporting process (online & physical)

  • If you did not secure admission in Round 1, do not exercise the web options in the final phase without checking the previous years’ closing ranks

  • As CSE in top colleges gets closed in Round 1 (mostly), do not aim for the same institute as the first option in the final phase. For example, you selected VR Siddhartha CSE as the first option in Round 1 but did not get admission. In such cases, opt for a different institute as the first option in the final phase

  • Do not move ahead with physical reporting without completing the online self-reporting process

  • Do not attend the physical reporting without the necessary documents and seat allotment letter

  • The tuition fee has been fixed by APSCHE and it is printed on the seat allotment letter. Therefore, the candidates are advised to not pay any additional tuition fee apart from the amount specified on the seat allotment letter
