DUET 2020 is just a few days away, and its time that the students should be aware of DUET 2020 Exam Day Instructions, Guidelines, and Reporting Time to avoid any confusion and panic.

DUET 2020 Exam Day Instructions

Delhi University is starting with DUET exam from tomorrow i.e. 6th September and its time that the aspirants are thorough with the DUET 2020 exam day instructions, guidelines, and report time. NTA will conduct DUET 2020 exam from 6th to 11th September 2020 and the slots for the same have been announced. DUET is conducted for admission to various UG and PG courses in the colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi .

DUET 2020 exam was postponed this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Due to the ongoing crisis, it is all the more important for the aspirants to be well acquainted with the DUET 2020 exam day guidelines and instructions. To ensure the safety of the students during the DUET 2020 exam, the exam centres have been disinfected and the seating of the students is planned to keep in mind the safety of the students.

Each staff member and examinee will be provided with face masks and gloves at the DUET exam center itself. Isolation rooms have been also prepared to accommodate any candidate who is feeling unwell during the DUET 2020 exam.

What to Carry on DUET 2020 Exam Day?

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, there are special items that aspirants are allowed to carry on DUET 2020 exam day. The list of document that one is allowed to carry on the DUET exam day can be checked below:

  • On the DUET 2020 exam day candidates can carry their own masks, hand gloves, and sanitizers (50 ml) and water in transparent bottles. It is mandatory for students to wear masks during the exam due to the ongoing crisis.
  • However, at every DUET exam center student will be provided with hand gloves and face masks
  • DUET 2020 Admit Card (Hardcopy)
  • One Passport Size Photograph
  • ID Proof- It can be a Voter ID/ Aadhar Card/ Driving License/ Ration Card

DUET 2020 Exam Day Guidelines

There are several Dos and Donts when it comes to the DUET 2020 exam and with the pandemic, the authorities have come with some new DUET 2020 exam day guidelines to ensure the safety of the students. Let us have a look at the DUET 2020 exam day guidelines below to avoid confusion on the exam day.

  • Those appearing in the DUET 2020 exam must ensure that they reach the exam center 90 minutes before the start of entrance exams for formalities such as registration and frisking and to avoid the last-minute rush.
  • The registration desk will close 20 minutes before the commencement of the exam and after that candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall and appear for the exam.
  • Students will be provided with the virtual calculator for the exam.
  • Make sure that the printout of the DUET 2020 admit card is clear. No one will be allowed to appear in the exam without the same.
  • Ensure that the question paper available on the computer is as per the opted subject group mentioned in the admit card before the examination begins. In case, the subject is other than the opted paper, the candidate should inform the invigilator immediately
  • The invigilator will announce time during the beginning of the exam, in half time, and at the end of the exam.
  • Make sure that you dispose of the gloves and masks outside the exam hall in a pedal push covered bin at the examination center

DUET 2020: COVID-19 Precautions

Due to the ongoing COVID 19, NTA has come up with some measures for the DUET 2020 exam day so that the exam is conducted smoothly. They are as follows:

  • Hand-held metal detectors will be used for frisking candidates and it will be sanitised at regular intervals for the safety of the students.
  • DUET 2020 admit card will have specific bar codes, which will be scanned and rooms will be allotted to students accordingly
  • The DUET 2020 exam will be conducted in three and two-hour slots on all six days to reduce crowding and to ensure social distancing
  • About 50-60% reduction in the number of students per exam center.
  • Isolation rooms will be prepared for the students who are unwell.
  • Masks and gloves will be given to all examinees and staff members.

Over 1,40,000 students have applied for the DUET 2020 exam. Out of which 70,000 have applied for the nine entrance based UG courses and the remaining have applied for M.Phil/Ph.D. courses. The exam will be conducted in online mode. However, the students will have to go to the exam centers to appear in the same.

You do not have to appear for any entrance exam for admission to B.Ed course at this college. The application form for 2025-26 session is expected to be out in May or June. Hi, with 44 marks in the CUET-PG Economics exam, it is very unlikely that you will get admission to IGIDR, Mumbai for the M.Sc. Economics program. IGIDR usually selects students who score around 180 marks or higher, so your score is much lower than the cutoff. You can look for other colleges with lower cutoffs or prepare again to improve your score for next time.
