FMGE Result 2022: NBE published the result of FMGE 2022 on February 3, 2023. Candidates who have appeared in the same can download their FMGE 2022 scorecard directly from the official online portal . The FMGE result 2022 of students whose face ID is under checking, who have active court matters, or who have security clearance issues have been "WITHHELD."

Foreign Medical Graduate Examination 2022 (FMGE) was conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) on January 20, 2023. The FMGE examination is conducted bi-annually, in the months of June and December. Earlier, FMGE 2022 examination for the December session was supposed to be held on December 4, 2022, which was later postponed to January 20, 2023.

FMGE 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicant must be a citizen of India or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI card holder) to be eligible for FMGE 2022.

• The candidate should possess a primary medical qualification like MBBS which is approved by the Indian Embassy or a recognized qualification for enrolment as a medical practitioner in India.

• The last date for obtaining the Primary Medical Qualification for this year is on or before 31st October 2022.

• It is mandatory for candidates to provide proof that they have passed the final examination or primary medical qualification or on before the cut off date.

• If a candidate has an undergraduate medical degree from countries such as the United Kingdom/ Australia/ United States of America/ Canada/ New Zealand they will not be required to appear in the Screening test.

FMGE 2022 Exam Pattern:

• The FMGE exam has 300 multiple-choice questions in total and the medium of examination is English only.

• The exam is conducted in two shifts in a single day and is a computer-based test.

• There is no negative marking in the FMGE examination.

FMGE 2022 Application Form and Examination Fee

• The application form is available in online mode and before filling the application form it is advised to go through the instructions carefully.

• At the end online submission of the FMGE 2022 application form, the candidate will get a computer-generated acknowledgement. This acknowledgement will also be sent to the registered e-mail ID of the candidate.

• Candidates are advised to take a printout of the FMGE application form for further use.

• THE FMGE 2022 examination fee is Rs. 5,500.

FMGE 2022 Admit Card:

• The FMGE 2022 admit card is issued to the candidates after the allotment of the exam centre by NBE.

• The information to download the FMGE admit card is communicated through a public notice or SMS alerts. The admit cards will be released on January 13, 2023.

• Candidates are required to download their FMGE admit card/ hall ticket from the official website of NBE and paste their latest passport size photograph in the space provided on the admit card.

• The photograph should be of size 35x45 mm with at least 75% coverage of the face of the candidate.

FMGE 2022 Exam Centres

The FMGE 2022 exam centres are located in 25 cities across the country which includes all the major cities such as Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Jammu, Jaipur, Srinagar, Noida, Patna, Delhi, Dehradun, Chennai and others.

FMGE 2022 Result

All candidates who have appeared for the FMGE 2022 examination must secure a minimum of 150 out of 300 marks to pass the following examination. As per the previous year's trend, a total of 23,350 candidates appeared for the FMGE December Examination, out of which only 5,665 qualified for the next rounds of the admission process. The list of candidates qualifying for the screening rounds are determined based on the FMGE results as governed by the conducting authority. FMGE 2022 Scorecard

After a few days of release of the FMGE 2022 result, NBE releases the FMGE 2022 scorecard on their official website. All candidates must download the same and verify all the details as mentioned on the result.

Any candidate can view their FMGE 2022 Scorecard by simply visiting the official page, logging into their account, and clicking on the "FMGE 2022 Scorecard" notification.

FMGE 2023 Cut-Off Marks

The FMGE 2022 Cut Off refers to the minimum marks required to be secured by the candidates to qualify the FMGE 2022 examination. Therefore, it is extremely crucial for all candidates to know of the cut-off marks and cut-off percentage required to pass the FMGE 2022.

The cut-off marks for FMGE 2022 is 150 out of 300. Candidates securing less than that will not be qualified for the selection process. The factors that determine the cut-off marks are the category of the candidate, the number of candidates who appeared for the exam, the number of seats available, the toughness level of the question paper, and the rules of the organization.

FMGE 2022 Merit List

FMGE 2022 Merit List will be released by the NBE on their official website after the FMGE 2022 results declaration. All candidates will be eligible to download the same from the official website of the National Board of Examinations (NBE).

FMGE 2022 Merit List will include the list of candidates securing top ranks in the examination, along with their marks and ranking. The candidates enlisted on the merit list will be eligible to attend the counseling rounds for the selection process on the dates announced by the authorities.

FMGE 2022 Selection Process

The FMGE 2022 selection process is inclusive of many steps. The steps to be followed for the selection process of FMGE 2022 are mentioned below:

• Firstly, all candidates must fill the FMGE 2022 Application Form. The most important step of FMGE 2022 selection process is to fill out all the details on the application form such as Candidate's personal details, academic qualifications, address, contact information, gender, Nationality, etc.

• Next, after the successful completion of the registration process, all eligible candidates are issued FMGE 2022 Admit Card to appear for the examination. The following will also be verified at the time of Counselling.

• Then, after the FMGE 2022 result declaration, the Merit List displaying the qualified candidates will be published on the official website.

• Lastly, the final stage of the selection process is the issuance of Pass Certificate. All candidates are required to visit the NBE office to collect their pass certificates. The qualified candidates will be issued their registration certificate, allowing them to practice medicine in India.
