GATE Architecture & Planning Syllabus - IIT Roorkee has released the GATE syllabus for Architecture & Planning on the official website. The GATE Architecture and Planning syllabus has been separated into parts: Part A , Part B1, and Part B2 . Candidates appearing for the GATE Architecture exam have to attempt questions asked from the B1 section whereas the Planning candidates have to attempt questions asked from the B2 section. Part A remains common for both the Architecture and Planning candidates of the GATE exam and irrespective of the paper they are attempting, have to attempt questions asked from Section A. The common subjects includd in the GATE Architecture & Planning syllabus are Architecture, Planning and Design, Environmental Planning and Design, Construction and Management, etc. Meanwhile, the Part B 1 (Architecture) topics included in the syllabus are History and Contemporary Architecture, Building Construction and Structural systems and, Building Services and Sustainability. Unfortunately, Sikkim Manipal University does not offer M.Tech as a distance course. If you want to take admission here, you will have to enrol in a regular 2-year MTech course in Communication and Signal Process, Computer Science & Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Power Electronics.
