Factors Affecting GATE Chemical Engineering Score 2025

There are a number of factors that influence a good score in the GATE Chemical Engineering exam. Following are some of the factors that are taken into consideration to prepare a good score for GATE Chemical Engineering:

  • Number of Test-Takers: The number of students taking the exam influences the cutoff marks. The large number of students indicates increases in the competition which raises the good score in the GATE exam and affects the cutoff.
  • Difficulty Level of Exam: The difficulty level of the exam is also an important factor in determining the cutoff marks. If the questions in the exam are challenging, the good score will be lower.
  • Student’s performance: The overall performance of students influences the scores. If a large number of students perform well in the exam, the good score marks will be higher.
  • Seats available: The limited number of seats in GATE 2025 participating colleges can impact the GATE scores.
  • Reservation- The reservation also affects the GATE scores as good scores in unreserved categories are greater than in reserved categories.
