Himachal Pradesh NEET UG Counselling stray vacancy round merit list was released on October 25, 2024. The seat allotment result will be announced on October 29, 2024. The Atal Medical and Research University on behalf of the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla is responsible for curating and publishing the HP merit list 2024. Eligibility Criteria for HP NEET Merit List 2024
There are eligibility requirements that candidates must suffice in order to be eligible for the HP NEET merit list 2024. The eligibility criteria are mentioned below for the reference of students.
Domicile Criteria - Candidates must belong to the Himachal Pradesh state and possess the domicile certificate for the same
Mark Requirement - Aspirants must clear the NEET UG 2024 cutoff marks
Mandatory Subjects - Students should clear chemistry, physics, and biology subjects in class 12th
Minimum Percentage - Students need to score at least 50% in the science stream

HP NEET Merit List 2024: Tie-Breaking Criteria
When two or more students in the same category achieve equal marks on the NEET UG 2024, the following tie-breaking procedures are applied:The first preference of tie-breaking criteria is given to students who scored higher in the Biology section of the NEET UG 2024, Students who perform better in the Biology part will receive a higher rank.
The next step to break the tie will be to look at their scores in the Chemistry section; whoever does better will be rated higher.
If the above-mentioned criteria fail to break the tie, In such scenarios, the number of incorrect answers attempted will be counted as the third tiebreaker. Higher ranks will be given to students who provided fewer incorrect responses in NEET UG 2024.
Age criteria are the final tie-breaking step, older students will be given preference.
Himachal Pradesh NEET Merit List List 2024: Management Quota
Check out the following details before applying for the Management Quota in Himachal Pradesh NEET 2024.Students can apply for management quota seats in NEET UG 2024 if they fail to achieve above the cutoff mark or are unable to participate in the NEET UG counselling sessions due to certain reasons.
In order to apply for the medical seats through the Management quota, students must appear in the NEET UG 2024 exam. Students will have a high chance of getting admission in top medical institutes in Himachal Pradesh by paying double or triple the fee amount.
Students who desire to apply for HP NEET merit list 2024 Management quota seats must complete their Intermediate with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.
In addition, every student (located in India) is eligible to apply for management quota seats, per the instructions given by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
Application forms for the NEET HP merit list 2024 will be released after the NEET UG result 2024 is announced.
