Candidates were allowed to fill the IP University MBA Application Form 2022 till May 30, 2022. Earlier, the registrations were supposed to be conducted till April 30 but IP University had notified the extended deadline. Candidates having a valid CAT 2022 score were eligible to fill the application form.

IP University MBA and MCA Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates who are interested in taking admission in the IP University must meet the eligibility requirement set by the university for MBA and MCA programs. The candidates seeking admission to the IP University MBA and MCA programs are selected based on their past academic records and entrance score.

IP University MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should hold a graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks or any other equivalent qualification with minimum marks of 50%

• Candidate should also have at least one year executive / professional experience

• And the candidate should have secured a valid CAT Score

IP University MCA Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree.

OR

• The candidate must have passed three years (03) Bachelor Degree with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation level “(these applicants, if admitted, shall have to study additional bridge courses as per the norms of the University)”.
• The candidates need to obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

Admission shall be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Graduation) and performance in personal interview. Merit list shall be prepared based on the following: a) 70% weightage will be given to the percentage secured in the qualifying examination. b) 30% weightage will be given to the performance in personal Interview. Thus the merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks earned by each candidate, out of 100 comprising of percentage of marks obtained in qualifying examination and marks obtained in Personal Interview.

IP University MCA Selection Criteria 2022

For MCA, all admissions shall be on the basis of Merit of NIMCET 2022. If Seats remain vacant after counselling on the basis of merit of NIMCET 2022, the University will consider admission in MCA/ MCA (SE) programmes on the basis of merit of Common Entrance Test (CET) to be conducted by GGSIP University.

IP University MBA and MCA Counselling Process 2022

The Selection Process of IP University is totally on the merit base. The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the IPU CET score. After that, the merit list will be prepared and the applicant will be called for the counselling process. IP university conducts the counselling process in two ways:-

• Online Counselling Process and
• Offline Counselling Process

Online Counselling Process

• The candidates who have cleared the IPU CET entrance or other national level entrance exam need to appear for the IP University Counselling process

• The candidates who have cleared the entrance exam need to register themselves for the IP University counselling process before the last date.

• And as a part of the counselling process, the candidates need to pay the counselling fee of Rs 1000/- through NetBanking/ Credit card/ Debit card which is non-refundable.

• After paying the counselling fee applicants are advised to take a printout of the transaction as a part payment confirmation

• After that, a seat will be allotted to candidates as per their reserved category and if any seats remain vacant then the unfilled seats will be then converted into the unreserved category.

• If any CET qualified candidate has not taken admission in the online counselling round then they are eligible to participate in the spot counselling against the available vacant seat.

Offline Counselling Process

Offline counselling is further divided into two categories:-

1. First Counselling and

2. Second counselling.

Both the counselling procedures are discussed as below:

First offline counselling

• Admission of the candidate will be on a merit basis only so the candidate who qualified for the entrance exam will be called for the counselling process as per the schedule set by the university (Schedule can be checked on the official website of the university )

• To attend the IP University Counselling process the applicant needs to pay the counselling fee of Rs 1000/- (Non-refundable)

• Candidates will be called for the Counselling process as per their rank in the merit list

• And at the time of counselling, the candidate also needs to submit their documents for verification. All the candidates need to undergo for the document verification as a part of the counselling process at their selected centres. And if any candidates are founded with false records then the university may cancel the application form of the candidate on the spot.

• Applicants are also advised to pay the fee immediately after the counselling otherwise, the seat will be allocated to the next applicant on the merits list.

• And if any candidates fail to appear on the notified date of the counselling process then they would not be able to claim their seat for admission to the IP University

• So the Candidates are advised to attend the counselling on the scheduled date and time along with their documents

• In the first counselling process, the candidates will not be able to change their program but they can change their program in second counselling by depositing additional Rs 5000/- in the form of DD (Drawn in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University payable at Delhi)

• Reserved seat allocation will be done only after the completion of the last round of counselling

• Candidates are allowed to cancel their admission in the first counselling session by submitting an application form at the following address:
  Reception Counter, Admission Branch, Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector-16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078

• If the request is received on or before the mentioned date and time then the admission will be cancelled and the fees will be refunded to the candidate after the deduction of Rs. 1000/-

Second offline counselling:-

• In this also the candidates are shortlisted based on their merit. And the candidate has to pay the counselling fee so that they can attend the IP University Counselling Process.

• Applicants are advised to take a printout of the online payment.

• Candidates are also not recommended to pay a second counselling processing fee if they have already paid the counselling fee for the first round.

• If the candidate is admitted for admission in the 1st Council but needs to change their program, then the candidate needs to appear for the second offline counselling to modify the program by additionally paying Rs 5000/- in DD form.

• After finishing the two rounds of counselling, the counselling house will hold counselling for vacant seats only.

• The candidates who have qualified for the IPU CET entrance exam will be considered for admission to the Management Quota

• Candidates are advised to take a printout of the online fee confirmation receipt with the transaction details.

• If any CET qualified candidate has not taken admission in the online counselling round then they are eligible to participate in the spot counselling against the available vacant seat.

Note:- If any IPU CET qualified candidate has not taken admission in the online counselling round then he/ she can also participate in the spot counselling for the vacant seats

Note:- After clearing all the process, candidates need to pay the fee otherwise the admission will not be confirmed.
