JAC Chandigarh 2024 Admission Process: JAC Chandigarh 2024 round 1 registration is closing on June 23, 2024. After this, the document verification will be conducted from June 24 to 30, 2024. The round 1 choice filling will be done from July 4 to 6, 2024. JAC Chandigarh 2024 admission process for the BE / B.Tech course is completely based on the JEE Main result 2024 of paper 1 and for B.Arch course it is based on the JEE Main 2024 Paper 2A result. The admission process of JAC Chandigarh 2024 consists of the following steps like online registration and payment of registration fee, uploading of documents and document verification, choice filling, seat allotment result, downloading seat allotment letter, submission of willingness and final payment of seat acceptance fee.

JAC Chandigarh Application Form 2024

Candidates who qualify the JEE Main 2024 exam will be eligible to take part in the JAC Chandigarh 2024 admission process. In order to participate in the Admission Process of JAC Chandigarh 2024 candidates have to first register themselves through the authentication process by providing the following four parameters

• JEE Main 2024 Application Number
• Candidate’s Name
• Mother’s Name
• Date of Birth

Following successful authentication, the candidate can set up their login credentials (the login ID will be their JEE Main Application Number; they must also create a password) and provide contact details (email address and mobile number).

It is mandatory for every applicant to complete the Online Registration Form. While filling out the form, applicants must provide the following details and attach the necessary files:

• Category of the Candidate (General, General-EWS, BC, SC, ST)
• Sub-category (ies) as appearing on registration form
• Total marks obtained by the students in various subjects of the qualifying examination (i.e. 10+2 examination)
• Place of the school from where the candidate has appeared for the qualifying examination (Chandigarh/ Outside Chandigarh)

Upon successfully submitting the registration form, candidates must pay a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2800 for general category candidates and Rs 1400 for SC / ST / PwD category candidates using a debit card, credit card, internet banking, e-Challan or UPI.

JAC Chandigarh Choice Filling Process 2024

It is mandatory for all registered candidates of JAC Chandigarh to provide their preferred Institute and Branch choices. If a candidate is eligible for both the Engineering and Architecture streams, they must submit a single set of combined choices. For candidates who meet the JEE Main 2024 eligibility requirements exclusively for architecture, completing the choice form is optional. Following a successful registration, only one architectural choice from the CCA will be automatically taken into consideration.

From the list of options, candidates can select as many options as they would like to rank in order of preference. Additionally, candidates may rearrange or reorder their selections, remove previous selections, and add new selections as many times as necessary until they lock their final set of selections.

Choice Locking

Candidates should only lock their selections after they are complete, but before the deadline in any case. After clicking the lock button, there are a few steps involved in locking the choices. This entails verifying the locking and entering the password again. To complete the locking procedure, the candidate should confirm with himself that he has carefully followed every step. The final saved choices will be automatically locked after the deadline if the candidate doesn't explicitly lock them by the final date and time. To view the choices that are locked, the candidate can log in again. Nevertheless, it is not possible to change or modify the locked choices.

Seat Allotment Result and Physical Reporting of JAC Chandigarh

During JAC Chandigarh Counselling, all of the candidates' choices will be processed centrally, and the website will host the results of the seat allotment. Candidates who are successfully assigned a seat must pay the acceptance fee and indicate that they are willing to be upgraded for the next rounds. If they do not, the seat will be automatically cancelled and they will not be considered for the next rounds, with the exception of the special and spot rounds of counselling.

Upon seat allotment, candidates are not obliged to report in person. The fee payment through any of the following methods (debit card, credit card, internet banking, UPI, e-Challan) and the online submission of interest for the next rounds will be considered reporting against the designated seat. Following the third counselling round, these candidates must report to the designated / allotted institutions.
