The Jharkhand B.Ed Entrance Exam 2024 was conducted on April 21, 2024 and the Round 2 counselling is expected to begin in the 4th week of August or 1st week of September, 2024. The Round 1 counselling was conducted from July 18 to August 7, 2024. During the counselling round, eligible candidates have to complete the online counselling registration and fill in their choices. After this, the provisional seat allotment letter was released on July 30, 2024. To appear for the Jharkhand B.Ed Entrance Exam 2024, candidates have to first fill out the application form. Below given are the steps that candidates should follow to complete the Jharkhand B.Ed Entrance Exam 2024 application form:

• Visit the official website of the exam authority, Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board.
• On the homepage, you will find the Jharkhand B.Ed Entrance Exam 2024 application form link. Candidates have to click on the link to fill up the application form.
• Enter the essential details to fill out the application form such as name, date of birth, email ID, phone number, academic details, other contact details, category, whether a person has a disability, educational qualification, etc. After submitting the details, candidates will have to check the entered details and make corrections if any, to submit his/ her final data.
• The photograph, signature and left thumb impression have to be uploaded in .jpg or .jpeg format. The signature must be 10 KB to 20 KB signed on a white sheet with black or blue ink. If for some reason the test-takers signature does not match with the scanned signature on the Admit Card or the Attendance Sheet, the candidates will not be allowed to take the test. The photograph of the candidate must be in the size range of 20 KB to 50 KB. The photograph should not be older than 6 months.
• The online application form for the Jharkhand B.Ed entrance exam will not be considered valid unless the test-taker uploads his/ her scanned photograph and signature. Once the uploading of the photograph and the signature is done, candidates are required to check the uploaded images. If for some reason, the uploaded image of the test-taker does not follow the specifications, then the candidate can upload the images again by following the same process. If the test-taker is further satisfied with the uploaded images, he/ she may proceed further.
• Other documents that need to be uploaded are the category certificates, EWS/ PH certificates, qualification certificates, etc as single pdf files. The size of the document should not exceed 500 KB.
• To complete the application process, candidates have to pay the application fee online. A link will be generated on the website for payment and will be given to the candidate which would take him/ her to the payment gateway link. The candidate will have to follow the instruction and complete the payment. The payment can be conducted through Internet banking/ Credit Card (Visa or Master)/ Debit Card (Visa or Master). Once the payment has been done by the candidates, they are requested to take the printout of the payment slip or save it for further reference.
• Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances so do not pay twice if there is any technical problem. If the payment status shows pending/ failure/ rejected, candidates must ensure that the payment is made within the specified date. However, cheques, money orders, demand drafts, postal orders, etc will not be accepted for payment of the fee.

It is essential for candidates to check out the Jharkhand B.Ed Entrance Exam 2024 eligibility criteria before filling up the application form:

• Candidates must have at least 50% marks in aggregate in their Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in streams such as Science/ Social Science/ Humanities/ Commerce and 55% marks in Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics or equivalent examination.
• The candidate can select only one subject that they have studied in the qualifying degree, i.e., Bachelor's degree or Master's degree. The subject should have been studied for at least 200 marks and got at least 50% marks in that subject. Particularly, this subject will be referred to as the teaching subject in the B.Ed course.
• The candidates can pass their qualifying degree in any year and there is no restriction.
• Applicants who are yet to appear or will be appearing in the final examination but did not qualify in their final year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree are not eligible to apply for the examination.
