The JNU MBA Admission 2024 registration process for the JNU MBA 2024 program at Jawaharlal Nehru University concluded on June 15, 2024 . Prospective candidates interested in applying for the JNU MBA Admissions 2024 were able to apply on the official website of JNUEE at jnuee.jnu.ac.in for submission. To be eligible, applicants must provide their CAT 2023 registration information and scores. Those seeking admission to the MBA program are required to have participated in CAT 2023. Each candidate applying for the MBA program must furnish their CAT registration number along with their corresponding score.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) started offering MBA degrees in 2019 through ABV-SME. Candidates interested in taking an MBA admission at JNU will have to go through the JNU MBA Selection Process 2024 after qualifying the eligibility criteria set by the institute.

CAT 2023 is being considered for the selection for JNU MBA Admission 2024.

Minimum Qualification

The candidates applying for the JNU MBA course must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university. The candidate must have received at least 3 years of bachelor's education after completing Class 12th/ 10+2. Final Year students are also eligible for applying for admissions.

JNU MBA Admission 2024: Application Process

JNU releases its MBA application form online on the official website. Candidates have to register on the website, complete the application form and pay the application fee before final submission. The steps to fill out the JNU MBA Application Form 2024 can be found below.

  • Visit the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University ( jnu.ac.in )

  • On the home page, click on the option "School & Centres".

  • Under the schools & centers tab, click on the link that indicates "Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship".

  • The official page for JNU MBA will open in a new tab.

  • Click on the tab "Admissions".

  • Now click on "Apply online".

  • Complete the pre-registration by entering your Name, E-Mail ID, Date of Birth, and Contact Details.

  • Create a Password and click on "Submit".

  • You will receive a validation link in the e-mail.

  • Click on the validation link to activate your account.

  • Now, log in with E-Mail and Password.

  • The online application form for the JNU MBA course will be displayed.

  • Fill in all the necessary details.

  • Submit the CAT score.

  • Upload the relevant documents like photographs, signatures, and other documents.

  • Pay the JNU MBA application fee.

  • Take the printout of the filled-in application form for future reference.

JNU MBA Seat Intake 2024

JNU has 75 seats available in the ABV-SME for its MBA course. Candidates must also note that the university also follows the reservation policy specified by the Government of India for its MBA program.

JNU MBA Admit Card 2024

Candidates who have not appeared for the CAT examination will have to appear for the JNU entrance test for MBA. The important dates for the MBA entrance exam of JNU will be updated on the college website. The admit card will also be updated on the official website of the college.

Appearing candidates will have to carry their JNU MBA Admit Card for the Entrance Exam. However, Entrance Exams will only be conducted if there are any vacant seats after the GD and PI Rounds are conducted based on the CAT 2024 scores. Depending on the availability of seats, JNU MBA Entrance Exams will be conducted for JNU MBA 2024 Admissions.

JNU MBA Selection Process 2024

The JNU MBA selection process 2024 is as follows:

Stage 1

  • After applications have closed, JNU shortlists eligible candidates for MBA admissions based on their CAT score.
  • The list of candidates shortlisted for JNU MBA second stage selection process shall be published on the official website of JNU, and the same shall be intimated to candidates via e-mail.

Stage 2

  • JNU MBA admission 2024 Stage 2 selection process will have a Group Discussion (GD).
  • The shortlisted candidates shall be invited to participate in a Personal Interview (PI) round that will be informed to the selected candidates directly or on the dates announced officially.

Stage 3

  • The final selection of candidates for JNU MBA admission 2024 shall be based on overall performance in CAT, GD, and PI.
  • The overall score shall be considered for the final selection.
  • The list of selected candidates for the JNU MBA course will be published on the official website.
  • Selected candidates may then secure admission accordingly.

The selected candidates must confirm their admission by booking the seat on the official website of JNU Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship. If the candidates fail to book their seats within the dates mentioned above, their selection will be cancelled, and the seats will be allocated to the next candidate on the waiting list.

JNU MBA Admission 2024: Final Merit List

After the GD-PI rounds for JNU MBA admission 2024 have been conducted, the university will compile the final scores of all candidates. Based on their CAT 2023 scores and performance in GD-PI, candidates will be placed on a merit list. The MBA merit list of JNU will be released by the university on its official website.
