Dear Student,

There is a very low chance of getting a seat in NIT Silchar, NIT Mizoram, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Durgapur, or NIT Goa with an 88 percentile in the JEE Main 2025 exam, as the EWS expected cutoff is around 95 percentile for Tier 2 and 3 cities. Dear Student,

The eligibility criteria of 75% marks in higher secondary is only applicable to the JEE Advanced exam. However, to appear for the JEE Main 2025 exam you need not have 75% marks in 10+2. If you have qualified 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Math, then you are eligible to appear for the JEE Main 2025. We hope that we have answered your questions successfully.
