Does a student have to meet 75% criteria of jee mains for btech or only have to appear in jee mains

The eligibility criteria of 75% marks in higher secondary is only applicable to the JEE Advanced exam. However, to appear for the JEE Main 2025 exam you need not have 75% marks in 10+2.
