Karnataka MBBS Admission 2025 will be conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Educational Qualification

  • 10+2 Qualification with Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects, and a minimum of 50-55% marks in aggregate.
  • SC and ST students must have secured at least 40% in the subjects mentioned above.
  • All participating students must secure the required NEET Cutoff to be deemed eligible for Karnataka MBBS admission 2025 counselling.

Domicile Criteria

  • Students applying for Karnataka MBBS Admissions 2025 must have studied in a Karnataka-based institute recognized by the state government for a minimum of seven years.
  • Students must have studied from a Karnataka-based government institute from class 9 to 12 (or 1st and 2nd year PUC). Also, either of the parents of the students must have studied in Karnataka for at least 7 years.
  • Students who have passed class 12 (or equivalent exam) from any school or institute outside Karnataka can apply under the domicile criteria if either of their parents is a Karnataka domicile holder. Also, in this case, the candidate or either of the parents must have Kannada, Kodava or Tulu as their mother tongue and the student will be required to appear for the Kannada language test.

Nationality Criteria

Students must be Indian citizens to apply for Karnataka MBBS and BDS admissions 2025.

Age Criteria

Students must be no less than 17 and no more than 25 years of age as of December 31, 2025.
