Kerala MBBS Admission 2025: Dates, Counselling, Seat Allotment, Choice Filling

Kerala MBBS Admission 2025 is conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) every year. Students are required to apply for KEAM 2025 (Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical Entrance Exam), for admission to various UG courses offered at Kerala's colleges approved by Central and State Regulatory Bodies, Universities, and Government. The registration process for Kerala MBBS Admissions 2025 is being conducted in online mode, on the official website of the conducting authority, from February 20 to March 10, 2025. The official datesheet for Kerala MBBS Admissions 2025 has been published by the CEE. The last date to upload the required educational documentation is March 10, 2025, whereas the last date to submit other required documentation is March 15, 2025. The KEAM 2025 Entrance Exam will be conducted on April 22 to April 30, 2025, and the admit card for the same will be released on April 10, 2025. Students who successfully qualify the NEET 2025 Exam are also deemed eligible to apply for Kerala MBBS Admissions 2025, for the NEET 85% State Quota seats. The NEET UG 2025 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 4, 2025.

To be eligible for the Kerala MBBS Admissions 2025, all interested students are required to satisfy a list of admission eligibility criteria. These include, 10+2 qualification or its equivalent with Science background and Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects, at least 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2, and entrance exam qualifications. All the applying students must be domiciled in the state of Kerala, or satisfy the domicile requirements as per the Kerala MBBS Admission 2025 guidelines. Students who successfully qualify the NEET 2025 Exam with highest scores will be featured in the Kerala MBBS Admissions 2025 Merit List, released at the state level. Kerala MBBS Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification:

• 10+2 Qualification with Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects, and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• SC and ST students must have secured at least 45% in the subjects mentioned above.
• All participating students must secure the required KEAM/NEET Cutoff to be deemed eligible for Kerala MBBS admission 2025 counselling.
• Students who want to participate in the Kerala MBBS admission 2025 process through KEAM 2025, need to obtain at least 50th percentile to be eligible.

2. Domicile Criteria:

• Students applying for Kerala MBBS Admissions 2025 must have studied in a Kerala-based institute recognized by the state government.
• However, students seeking admission under the NEET 15% all-India quota MBBS Admissions 2025 are not bound by this rule.

3. Nationality:

• Students must be Indian citizens to apply for Kerala MBBS and BDS admissions 2025.

4. Age Criteria:

• Students must be no less than 17 and no more than 25 years of age as of December 31, 2025.
• The upper age limit will be followed as per the rules set for NEET 2025 exam structure.

5. Non-native Students:

Students who are not Kerala domicile holders but fall under the following categories will be considered NK-1 students and can apply for state merit seats:

• Candidates who are wards of non-Keralite Government employees in defence services and have passed the qualifying course/ class 12 from Kerala.
• Candidates whose parents are non-Keralites and have been serving or have served the Government of Kerala for a minimum of two years. In this case, the students must have completed class 12 from Kerala.
• Non-Keralite students who have been living in the state for at least 5 years and have pursued education from a state school or institute for a minimum of 5 years during 12 years of study.
• Non-domicile holders of Kerala who have studied in Kerala-based schools from class 8 to class 12.

Kerala MBBS Application Process 2025

• In order to appear for CEE Kerala MBBS counselling, candidates are required to fill KEAM application form for MBBS and BDS courses. The required application fee must also be paid in order to complete the application.

• For this, candidates have to register online and fill up all their personal and academic details. Once they have registered, they are provided with an application number either through the registered email ID or phone number.

• The KEAM application window opens twice every academic session; once in February and the next in May. The application window is usually shorter in May. Candidates must fill the KEAM application form within this stipulated time period and pay the fees through net banking, e-challan, debit or credit card.

• Once the candidates have filled the Kerala MBBS application, they will have to take a printout, affix a passport-size picture, get it attested by the head of your school/institution where you were previously enrolled and send it to CEE Kerala before the last date on their official address.
