For applying for the Higher Secondary Centralised Admission Process 2026, students need to follow the egilibility criteria that is set by the state board. Below are the list of egilibility criteria that students can go through:- Only those can apply who have secured at least a 'D+' grade in SSLC/ Class 10/ equivalent exam.
- Students need to provide all the necessary important documents at the time and after the registration process.
- If any students have pursued the CBSE course, and if they have passed the board exam will be considered for the main allotment. Before 2018, CBSE held separate school and board exams. Parents of such students should provide an affidavit on a stamp paper worth Rs 50 in the format given in Appendix 9 as a proof.
- CBSE students who have passed the school-level/ Class 10 exam can apply for the exam to the vacancies that exist after the main allotment. CBSE students can opt for the combinations with Mathematics in Kerala plus-one only if they have passed 'Mathematics standard.'
- The board will release ranks based on the WGPA (weightage grade point average) system which will be used to evaluate marks scored in class 10. Subsequently, the board will conduct the selection and allotment process through a computer program that considers rank, seats available and the choice of the applicants.
- The age of the students should be between 15-20 years as of June 1, 2025. The upper age limit can be 22 years for the SC category, while it will be 25 for visually impaired, mentally challenged applicants, and hearing impaired.
- There will be no upper age limit for students who have passed the exam conducted by the Kerala Board of Public Examinations.
- Students can obtain relaxation in lower and upper age limits for up to six months from the Director of General Education if they have pursued other board syllabuses.
