7 NEET 2024 Last-minute Preparation Tips

With just a few days left for the entrance exam, aspirants are anxious about how to go about covering the whole NEET 2024 syllabus, and how to memorize chapters while also keeping up with good health. Keeping all these factors in mind, we are here to share some last-minute NTA NEET 2024 preparation tips:

NEET Last Minute Preparation Tips

1. Prioritize Your NEET UG 2024 Notes

This is that time when students should refrain from picking up a new book/study material and stick to their notes. Since the majority of the topics from the NEET 2024 syllabus are NCERT-centric, it is advisable that students stick to these textbooks and a handful of other reference books for objective-type questions. Once you have covered the chapters, start preparing short notes. That will help inculcate the habit of writing down important points and also make it easy for you to memorize them. Candidates must refer to Do or Die Chapters for NEET 2024 to understand the importance of each topic.

2. Focus on Creating Diagrams, Tables, and Graphs

Since this is the last leap of your NEET 2024 preparation, it is important fhat you focus on learning the diagrams, tables, and graphs, which play a critical role in scoring well in the exam. One easy way to remember formulae and trivial details regarding the diagrams is by creating flashcards to learn the same. Additionally, make sure you put up charts of important formulae, tables, flowcharts, etc., and revise them every day. This will not only refresh your mind but will also help build your photographic memory which can be a great add-on in recalling the slightly trickier topics in NEET 2024 exam.

3. Devise a Study Plan

One of the overlooked yet important tips for NEET 2024 preparation is to have a study plan. Students must have a proper understanding of the NEET UG 2024 Exam Pattern in order to prepare a routine and plan their day strategically. For instance, you can start your daylight by revising the formulae and tables and then move on to the part of your NEET 2024 syllabus that requires more attention. In the latter half of the day, you can focus on solving NEET previous question papers or taking a couple of mock tests to assess yourself. This way, you will be able to utilize your day more efficiently. However, also be sure to take short breaks in between.

4. Assess Yourself with Regular Mock Tests

Mock tests are one of the most important components of NTA NEET exam, as they help you know where you stand in your NEET 2024 preparation and also provide you with exposure to certain questions and time management. You can sit for your mock tests during the same time as your exam, which is between 2 PM and 5:20 PM. That will set the rhythm for the NEET 2024 exam day and will help you figure out the sections where you can work upon and save time.

This is the right time when you can focus on your weak sections and improve your chances of scoring well in those sections. You may also seek guidance from NEET experts/counsellors, or refer to online videos and tutorials to clear your doubts before the exam.

6. Revise Daily

The key to cracking NTA NEET in the first attempt is to focus on revision rather than starting with new topics. Going through all the notes and sample papers, solving mock tests – all these should be part of your revision strategy.

7. Keep Up with Your Mental Peace

NTA NEET surely is the first major competitive exam in your life and it is normal to feel the pressure. However, aspirants must keep away from the negativity and thoughts which can hamper their motivation or positive mindset. Instead of worrying about the outcome or NEET 2023 result, just focus on your mental peace days before the exam and think about how you can give your best on the exam day.

8. Solve Previous Years Question Papers

No. 256 score is well below the cutoff mark level of the Govt. Thiruvarur Medical College. Students must score at least 600-625 marks to be considered for a seat at this college. Even after using the reservation criteria, getting a seat with 256 marks is not possible. Instead, you can try opting for these colleges in Tamil Nadu.
