What is the JEE Mains 2024 Percentile Score?
The expected rank of 75 percentile in JEE Mains is 2,00,001- 2,20,010. The percentile score obtained by a student in JEE Mains 2024 exam is a measure of their performance. The marks secured by each candidate are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session. The percentile of each student is determined based on the percentage scored, which is either equal to or below the percentile in the examination. Therefore, the topper of each session (highest scorer) gets a percentile score of 100, and the marks obtained between the highest and lowest are also converted into a proper percentile score. Instead of publishing candidates' raw marks, the percentile score is normalized to help each candidate obtain a position according to their merit.
