Both general and honours level law courses are offered every year on the basis of marks secured in CLAT exam. Courses offered through CLAT 2025 or also known as integrated law courses, as there dual degree courses which provide candidates both the law as well as graduation credentials at the same time.

Eligibility Criteria of Courses Offered Through CLAT 2025

To secure admission to the law course of their choice, candidates have to ensure that they meet all the conditions prescribed for that particular programme. In case anyone fails to fulfil all prerequisites, he/ she will not be shortlisted for admission. The table given below provides the course-wise eligibility criteria for all the programmes offered through CLAT.

  • The aspirant must have completed his/ her education up to the 10+2 level or its equivalent.
  • The candidate must get his/ her class 12th degree from a recognised state or central board of education.
  • The candidate must have secured no less than 45% aggregate marks at the 10+2 level (40% for reserved category candidates).
  • Apart from this, the candidate must have scored passing marks in all the subjects of class 12th.
BBA LL.B
B.Com LL.B
B.Sc LL.B
  • The candidate must have completed his/ her education up to the 10+2 level or its equivalent.
  • The applicant must have received his/ her class 12th degree from a recognised board of education (central or state).
  • For B.Sc LL.B, the candidate must have completed class 12th in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology as the main subjects.
  • For B.Tech LL.B, the candidate needs to have done class 12th in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects.
  • The applicant must have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate at the 10+2 level (40% for reserved category candidates).
  • He/ she must have scored passing marks in all the subjects of class 12th.

LL.M
  • The candidate must have completed his/ her education up to the graduation level.
  • The applicant must have a UG degree in law.
  • The applicant must have received his/ her UG degree from a recognised university or college.
  • The aggregate marks scored by the candidate in the UG degree must not be less than 55% (50% for reserved category candidates).

Note: Students appearing in the final year of their qualifying degree are also allowed to apply. There is NO UPPER AGE LIMIT to apply for CLAT UG or CLAT PG.

How to Apply for Courses Through CLAT 2025

The application process for CLAT 2025 is done online and candidates have to apply from the official website of the CLAT Consortium.
