Documents Required for TS EDCET 2025 Counselling Process

Below is a complete list of all the documents required for the TS EDCET 2025 counselling process. Candidates who pass the exam and are named on the merit list must submit these documents to participate in the TS EDCET counselling procedure. However, before exercising their web options, candidates must be available at the helpline centre with all of the following documents:

• Qualifying exam degree certificate
• Class XII mark sheet
• Class X mark sheet
• Study certificates (from the IX class till graduation)
• Residence certificate
• Income certificate for candidates seeking admission under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category
• Transfer certificate
• Identity proof (Aadhar Card)
• Special category certificate (NCC/ Sports/ PwD/ CAP)
• Caste certificate (from a competent authority)
• Recent self-attested photo (2 sets)
• Photocopies of all the above-mentioned certificates
• Latest Parental Income Certificate provided by MRO, Telangana Govt.

Non-local applicants must present the following credentials to be considered for allotment under unreserved seats.

Residence Certificate: Aspirants who have lived in the state for a total of ten years, excluding durations of study outside Telangana, or either of whose parents have stayed in the state for ten years, excluding periods of employment outside the state.

Specifications for TS EDCET Documents 2025

While filling out the TS EDCET 2025 counselling process application form, candidates have to upload all the documents and scanned images in a prescribed format. The layout and instructions format are given below:

TS EDCET 2025 Counselling Process

TS EDCET 2025 counselling will begin after the release of the result and will be conducted online. Admission to the B.Ed course will be done through the TS EDCET counselling rounds. The TS EDCET 2025 seat allocation will be determined by the category, rank, and number of available seats. Those candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be called to the TS EDCET counselling.

All eligible candidates must take part in the TS EDCET counselling process. Candidates will be permitted to participate in the web counselling round only when they have paid the required fee and have their documents confirmed. Here we have shared the important steps in the TS EDCET 2025 counselling process:

Certificate Verification and Counselling

• The preliminary certificate verification will be performed using scanned copies of the original papers uploaded following the criteria.
• If there are doubts, an inquiry will be made over the phone to determine the authenticity of the documents.
• Before the start of the web options input, a provision/ link for exercising choices will be made available on the website.
• The list of provisionally selected aspirants will be compiled college by college and posted on the Internet, with SMS sent to the valid mobile number provided in the application.
• You need to pay the tuition cost or charges by a challan at the approved bank.
• Those who received a seat through provisional allotment in the counselling can access the website to retrieve the fee payment challan and joining report.
• The final seat allocation for admission is dependent on the proper validation of all original certificates at the reporting college and the production of a fee-paid challan.
• You must report to the relevant institute/ college and provide all original certificates within the deadline.
• Only when all original documents/ certificates have been thoroughly verified will the principal/ verification official issue an allotment order.
• The joining report, along with the original TC, must be signed and submitted at the designated college.
• Applicants are required to submit two sets of verified copies of all certificates to the appropriate institutions; one set is for the colleges, and the other set is for the Convener's office.

Post Document / Certificate Verification

Here we have shared the procedure for exercising web options that commences after the document verification:

• On the specified date, the website will display a validated list of registered and eligible applicants after the online certificate verification.
• If there are any anomalies in the candidates' confirmed data, please report them to the helpdesk centre or send an email through the website's email service. Any claim by the applicants made after the allocation of seats will not be entertained.
• You can exercise your web choices by visiting the Web Options link, which will be available on specified days.
• Candidates must use only desktops or laptops to exercise web options.
• If the candidate is filling out choices from the Internet centre, ensure that a proper logout is performed after storing the options for the applicant's information.
• To access the web choices, candidates must provide their login credentials (created upon registration for online certificate verification).
• Applicants are recommended to carefully select the first choice, second preference, and so on to ensure that the college/ course of their choice is in accordance with their priorities.
• The alternatives can be frozen after they are satisfied with the priority list.
• Options cannot be modified or altered after they have been frozen. However, web option editing will be provided on the notified dates.

TS EDCET 2025 Seat Allotment

• The seat allotment results will be declared college-wise on the counselling portal, and an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number during registration.
• Candidates not satisfied with the allocation of seats can withdraw their names from the admissions process.
• If you are satisfied with your seat allotment, you need to report to the respective college along with all your original documents.
• Tuition fees must be paid by the candidates by a challan at any Union Bank.
• The final allocation of seats for B.Ed admission depends on the verification of all original certificates at the assigned college. Further, the fee payment challan has to be produced by the candidates at the allotted college.
• The concerned college will provide the allotment order and joining report, which the candidates will submit along with the original TC.
• The eligible candidate also needs to submit 2 sets of attested photocopies of all certificates to the allocated colleges, where one set of photocopies must be submitted to the Convenor’s office.
