How to Choose the Right M.Des Specialisation 2024 in India?

Finding it difficult to choose an M.Des specialisation? Refer to the factors which will help you decide on one specific specialisation for the M.Des course:

    Find Out Your Interest

As M.Des is available across multiple specialisations, students are first required to analyse their interests. So, if you love designing clothes, then fashion design can be your right choice. Likewise, if you are interested in furniture design or textile design, then decide on the specialisation accordingly.

    What is Your Career Plan?

Knowing your career plan or where you see yourself, in the long run, will help you derive the specialisation. To have a better understanding of your career, research the employment opportunities, job roles, salary and more factors.

    Do Your Research

Candidates must not completely rely on the already said or believed factors for choosing a specialisation for the MDes program. They must conduct their own research about the course curriculum, duration, mode, placement and more factors.

    Course Fees

Before enrolling in a specialisation of M.Des, candidates must refer to the course fee structure. They must also look for the scholarships and educational loan options available prior to the final decision.

    Pick the Correct College

Picking up the right college is as important as finalising an M.Des specialisation, so we suggest students analyse the curriculum, infrastructure, location, extracurricular, placement, hostel and faculty parameters.
