How to Get Admission in Private Medical Colleges in Maharashtra

To enrol in any of the medical colleges in Maharashtra, students must qualify for the Maharashtra NEET Cutoff 2024 . The steps to get admission in Private Medical Colleges in Maharashtra are as follows-

  1. Register for Counselling : Students can enrol in either AIQ counselling or State Quota NEET Counselling 2024. The official website for NEET AIQ counselling is mcc.nic.in, and for State Quota counselling is @mahacet.org.

  2. Release of Merit List : Students whose names appear in the NEET Merit List 2024 or Maharashtra NEET Merit List 2024 are eligible to partake in the further round of counselling.

  3. Participate in Choice-Filling : Names of preferred colleges are filled in the AIQ and State Quota NEET UG 2024 Choice Filling . The medical colleges are designated to students based on the student’s AIR, choices filled, category, and total marks obtained.

  4. Allocation of Seats : Colleges are allotted to students in the list of NEET Seat Allotment 2024 .

  5. Report to the Allotted Colleges : Students must report at the allotted college and carry the all the important documents mentioned in the List of Documents Required for NEET Counselling 2024 for MBBS Admission .

Students can enrol in any of the private medical colleges in Maharashtra via All India Counselling or state counselling. However, students who have been allotted seats in NEET AIQ counselling will not be able to avail of seats through the state quota. Those with less than 650 marks in NEET UG are likely to enrol in private medical colleges. If students specifically want to target admission into Maharashtra’s medical colleges, they should opt for NEET state-wise counselling.
