MAH MHMCT CET Exam Day Guidelines

MAH MHMCT CET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell. The exam is conducted every year for admission to the full-time two-year postgraduate degree course offered by various Hotel Management colleges of Maharashtra. Candidates who are appearing for the MAH MHMCT CET need to fill the application form available on the official website of MAH CET. Since the exam is conducted in online mode, candidates need to follow the instructions provided on the question paper. This article contains the exam day instructions for the MAH MHMCT CET 2023 exam. MAH MHMCT CET 2024 Exam Day Instructions

Here are the exam day instructions for MAH MHMCT CET 2024.

  • Candidates should check the date, time and venue of the exam centre from the admit card.
  • They are advised to visit the exam centre one day prior to the exam so that they can reach on time on the exam day. Those who are late will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.
  • Candidates should follow the instructions provided by Test Administrator and CET Cell/ DTE Representative. Those who violate the instructions will be disqualified and they will be asked to leave the examination venue.
  • Candidates are not allowed to use calculators (separate or with watch), books, notebooks or written notes, cell phones (with or without camera, facility) or any other electronic device during the examination
  • Candidates need to hand over the Hall ticket to the invigilator.
  • Candidates should note that the name provided on the admit card should match the name appearing on the photo ID proof.  If there is any mismatch between the name indicated in the Hall ticket and Photo Identity Proof, they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
  • Any candidate who is found copying during the examination will not be allowed to give the exam.
  • Candidates need to bring a ballpoint pen. A sheet of paper will be provided to them. They can use the sheet for rough work and calculations. Once the exam is over, candidates have to hand over the sheet of paper to the est Administrator before leaving the venue.
  • Persons with Disabilities (PWD) should reach the exam Test Centre Administrator of the test venue at least 30 minutes before the time of examination for any kind of assistance required in seating.
  • Candidates are allowed to appear only once in the online examination. Multiple appearances in online examination will result in the cancellation of candidature.
  • If the MAH MHMCT CET examination is held in more than one session, the scores across various sessions will be equated to adjust for slight differences in the difficulty level of different test batteries used across sessions.
  • Candidates can switch between the test and questions anytime during the examination as per their convenience.

Things to Carry on MAH MHMCT CET 2024 Exam Day

Candidates need to carry their MAH MHMCT admit card along with one ID proof on the exam day. They can carry any one of the following ID proof.

  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Permanent Driving Licence
  • Voter’s Card
  • Bank Passbook with Photograph
  • Photo Identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead
  • Photo Identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead
  • Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognised College/ University
  • Aadhar Card with a photograph
  • Employee ID
  • Bar Council Identity card with photograph.

Candidates should note that Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License will not be accepted as proof of identity on the exam day.
