For UG Programmes

Candidates planning to for UG Maharashtra design admission 2024 are suggested to look at the basic eligibility requirements mentioned below:

  • Candidates must have passed their class 12th securing a minimum of 45-50% score from a recognised board of education. They should have English as their mandatory subject in class 12th.
  • Also, students should have scored passing marks in all the subjects they have opted for in class 12th.
  • In some colleges, the admission is based on entrance exam scores.
  • For BFTech course admission, students should have studied Mathematics in their class 12th for admission to some colleges.

For PG Programmes

Students applying for PG Maharashtra design admission 2024 must check for the eligibility criteria beforehand, refer to the general requirements below:

  • Candidates must have completed their graduation degree with at least a minimum of 45-55% score.
  • In most design colleges, PG or master-level admission is provided if students have a relevant bachelor's degree in design.
  • To gain admission in some specific specialisations, candidates must have that same specific specialisation in their bachelor’s degree.
  • In a few colleges, the entrance exam is the main criterion for admission, so students have to appear for the entrance exam and secure more than the cutoff to get admission.

There are written entrance exams, personal interviews, studio tests, portfolio presentations and various other selection rounds to get a seat in the PG design program.

For Diploma/ Certificate Course

Candidates who want to secure admission in short-term courses like a diploma or certificate in Maharashtra must check out the eligibility criteria below:

  • Students should have completed their class 12th from a recognised board of education securing a minimum of 45-55% marks.

  • Step 8 : Then, upload all the scanned documents in the prescribed format and size.
