The last date for NEET 2022 Application Form submission has been extended to May 15, 2022 (before 11:50 PM). Earlier, the application deadline for NEET UG 2022 was May 6. All candidates who are looking forward to taking on the NEET UG 2022 Exam must submit their applications before the closing date. The National Testing Agency (NTA) had released the application forms on the official website on April 7, 2022. Therefore, candidates have had ample time to fill in the same.

Instructions to Fill up the NEET 2022 Application Form
The NEET 2022 Registration window is open now. It started on April 6 and the last date for registration is May 15, 2022. Filling up the registration or the application form for NEET is simple. In case you have not yet filled out your NEET 2022 Application Form, now is the time to make haste.
The NEET 2022 application procedure involves certain stages which are detailed below for the benefit of all aspiring candidates.
Steps for NEET Entrance Exam 2022 Registration
Here are the steps to fill out the NEET Exam Application Form:
Visit the official website of NTA
Go to the NEET (UG) section and click on the Registration button
Fill in all the relevant details in the NEET 2022 Application Form as required. These include the candidate’s Full Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Address, Email ID and Educational qualification. Certain sections, like Caste, Religion, Nationality etc. also need to be mentioned.
When filling in your address, include the present address as well as the permanent address with the correct pin code, locality, district, city/town/village, state and country
Choose a secure, easy-to-remember password and select a security question and a security pin of your choice. You can note it down to ensure you do not forget or misplace the registered password.
Mention your category (whether General/SC/ST/OBC/PwD). Remember that once selected, the category cannot be changed later. Mention if a scribe is required (applicable to PwD category candidates).
Select the medium of question paper and make your choice of exam centre from the list displayed on the screen
Upload documents, such as the Class 10 and 12 marksheet and passing certificates
A passport size colour photograph of the candidate and a postcard size colour photograph (dimensions: 4”x6”) need to be uploaded in the size 10KB to 200KB
A photograph of the signature of the applicant with black ink on white paper (size: 4KB to 30KB) will need to be uploaded
A photograph of the left thumb impression of the applicant (size: 10KB to 200KB) has to be uploaded

- NEET 2022 Application Fee can be paid online using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking. In case you want to pay the fees offline, an e-Challan will be generated, which needs to be kept safe for future reference.
The application fees must be paid by the applicant, according to the table provided below:

NEET 2022 Application Form Documents Required
To complete successful verification of NEET 2022 Application Form, candidates must keep the following set of documents handy at the time of registration:
Passport size colour photograph
Postcard size colour photograph
Class 10th marksheet and passing certificate
Class 12th marksheet and passing certificate
Left thumb impression
Signature
Valid ID Proof – PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID (any of these)
Transfer/Migration Certificate
Caste Certificate (where applicable)

There are certain specifications that must be met while uploading the documents mentioned above for a successful application submission for NEET 2022.
Instructions for Passport Size Photograph
Candidates must ensure that the image uploaded meet the recommended size criteria as per the NTA regulations:
The photograph must be a coloured one
The photograph file size has to be between 100KB - 200KB
The photograph must be taken against a white background
It must have the complete face, ears, nose, neck and shoulders of the candidate clearly visible. The face must be towards the camera. The candidate must not be smiling and the eyes must be open.
The photograph submitted cannot be a selfie under any circumstances
It must be clicked in bright light so that there are no blurry areas
Instructions for Postcard Size Photograph
To ensure that the image is uploaded in the correct size, follow these guidelines by NTA:
The photograph must be a coloured one with dimension of 4” x 6”
The photograph file size has to be between 100KB - 200KB
The photograph has to be against a white background

Instructions for Left Thumb Impression
Candidates can also upload images of their thumb impression. Make sure you abide by these guidelines when uploading the same:
The thumb impression must be of the left hand. If that is not possible, the candidate can use a right thumb impression, but reasons have to be provided in that case.
The thumb impression must be done with a blue or black ink pad
Candidates must have a clean and dry hand for a clear thumb impression
Instructions for Signature
When uploading signature for registration, keep the following points in mind:
Signature must be done by the candidate only on a white blank page
It should be done in blue or black pen
The signature should be done and photographed in bright light. It should not be blurry and there must not be any flash
There must not be the shadow of any object falling on the signature

NEET 2022 Admit Card
NEET UG 2022 Admit Card will be released in July tentatively, a few days before the date examination. Once notified, candidates will be able to log in to NTA website and download the same. All information regarding the time and venue of exam will be mentioned on the admit card. Candidates are requested to get a copy of the admit card and affix a self-attested Passport size photograph on the allotted space. Note that NEET UG Hall Ticket is mandatory to sit for the entrance exam. Candidates failing to display their hall tickets/admit cards will not be allowed to appear for NEET 2022. In case of any error or discrepancy in the information printed on the admit card, candidates must immediately bring the same to NTA’s notice.
NEET UG 2022 Exam Centres
NEET 2022 is conducted across the country in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III cities. The number of NEET 2022 exam centres is much higher than that of the previous years. Candidates have to enter their preferred exam cities while filling out the NEET 2022 Application Form. NTA will try to ensure that candidates are allotted their preferred NEET 2022 exam centre.
NEET UG 2022 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of NEET underwent some changes last year. Although the total duration, mode of the exam and marking scheme remained the same, other important factors of the exam such as the total number of questions and number of questions to be attempted and section structure were changed. This year, the same pattern is followed except the duration, which has increased by 20 minutes. The following table will provide a clear and detailed idea about the NEET 2022 Exam Pattern for all aspiring candidates:

The total marks for the exam remained 720. Each correct question carried four marks and there was a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.
It is a pen and paper based examination where there are only multiple choice questions (MCQs) that have to be answered on the OMR sheet for the NEET exam using a blue or black ballpoint pen
It is usually of three 3 hours duration and the tentative timing is 2 PM to 5 PM
NEET UG 2021 Exam Pattern was changed. It is likely that there will be more changes this year, or the previous years' exam pattern might be continued. For confirmation, all aspiring candidates will have to wait for the official notification to be released on the website neet.nta.nic.in.
The exam will have two sections for all the three subjects— Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Section A has 35 questions and Section B has 15 questions. Out of these 15 questions, the candidate has to answer 10 of their choice.
The total number of questions are 200, out of which 180 questions will have to be answered by the candidate to get a good score in NEET 2022 Exam
Each question carries 4 marks. For a correct answer, you will get +4. For every incorrect answer, there is a negative marking of -1
