The NEET PG exam 2025 will be conducted on 15th June, 2025. NEET PG Seats in India include around 43,142 seats. Among the total NEET PG Seats in India, there are a total of Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats, 922 PG Diploma seats, 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS) seats, and 1,338 DNB CET seats available. Through the NEET PG Counselling 2025 , all the NEET PG seats in India will be filled. According to the latest report, the number of NEET PG Seats in India has increased by 127% in the last 10 years. In 2014, as per the NEET PG Seat Matrix 2025, there were 387 NEET PG Colleges in India. That number has increased to 706 NEET PG Colleges in 2025 - 25. The National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release the NEET PG 2025 Seat Matrix for over 50% of All India Quota seats. The NEET PG Seats in India include around 29,110 government and 20,259 private seats. Candidates willing to take admission to MD, MCh, and MS degrees, must refer to the NEET PG Seat Matrix 2025 to get an idea about the available NEET PG Seats in India. The Government PG Medical Colleges State-wise List will be released by the Medical Council Committee (MCC). Candidates will find the state-wise NEET PG seats including government and private colleges in India. Based on 50% All India Counselling, candidates will be allocated NEET PG Seats in India.

There have been revolutionary changes in the healthcare system of the country in the last decade. To strengthen the healthcare delivery system in India, the government has increased the total number of medical seats in the country. The total number of NEET PG seats has increased from 31,185 PG seats in 2014 to 70,645 seats in 2025 -25. NEET PG 2025 Seats Allocation Process

National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) releases the merit list for the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) candidates. Based on this merit list, candidates will be called for the NEET PG 2025 Counselling process. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the NEET PG counselling process in 50% of Central and Deemed Universities. For the other 50% seats, the respective state authorities hold the NEET PG Counselling 2025.

To participate in the NEET PG Counselling, candidates need to register themselves on the MCC website. Applicants need to pay the registration fee in online mode using Debit or Credit cards. Students will be allocated all the NEET PG Seats in India based on their preferences entered during the choice-filling round. After the choice-filling round is over, a seat allocation result will be released bearing the roll number of applicants and their allocated NEET PG seats. In the end, all the eligible candidates will be called for the physical admission round in the NEET PG Seats in India.

There has been a noticeable development in the medical education system of the nation. Several new colleges have been opened to encourage young minds to take up medical education. However, candidates need to remember that the applications for medical admission are also increasing every day and hence the competition is tough. Students must start their preparation early and be consistent to acquire a good rank in NEET PG 2025 !
