PPMET Merit List 2024 (Out): Cut-off Scores - Check Here!

PPMET Merit List 2024 dates have been revised by BFUHS. As per the revised timetable, the PPMET Merit List 2024 was released on July 2, 2024, along with the PPMET 2024 Results. The Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PPMET) is a state-level entrance examination administered by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) . The PPMET 2024 Round 1 counselling seat allotment process result was released on July 11, 2024. Candidates can report to the allotted colleges from July 13 to July 20, 2024. PPMET stands out as the most popular medical entrance exam conducted in the state of Punjab. The entrance examination is held to provide admissions to undergraduate courses such as MBBS , BDS , BAMS , BHMS and B.Sc Nursing . Baba Farid University has only the official authority to conduct the PPMET entrance exam every year hence, the university is in charge of releasing the merit list for the examination. The Punjab PMET exam also offers admission to few undergraduate therapeutic courses in the medical institutions in Punjab which are associated with the university. Each year, many of the candidates attend the PPMET examination to complete their medical courses at the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.

PPMET Merit List 2024

• PPMET Merit List shall be drawn up based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the university, i.e. PPMET.

• Candidates who make it to the merit list of PPMET will be corresponded by the conducting authority to further the selection process.

• Based on the entrance score, candidates will be called for a personal interview.

• The allocation of seats for admission will be done after the candidate's interview is conducted by the selection committee.

How to Check PPMET Merit List 2024?

• To download the PPMET merit list for 2024, candidates will have to click on the direct link provided above.

• As soon as the conducting authority releases the official list, the link mentioned above will be updated.

• Clicking on the link will redirect candidates to a new web page containing the merit list in a pdf format.

• Students will be able to check, as well as, download the list for future use.

PPMET 2024 Reservation and Seat Allocation

The total seats in Private colleges offering admissions through PPMET are divided into two quotas:-

• Government quota seats – 50%,

• Management/ Minority Quota seats - 50% (It also includes 15% for NRI)

The reservation policy followed by private institutes for Government and Management quota seats are mentioned below:- (applicable to only girls institutes)

NOTE: Seats left empty under any reserved category shall be combined with seats in the General category.

PPMET Result 2024

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences will individually release the merit list for every undergraduate course after the result has been conducted, including the NRI classification. Candidates will be able to check their results by entering their application number and their date of birth. The Merit List will be created after the result has been announced.

Step to download PPMET Result:-

• In order to download the PPMET Result, the candidates need to first visit the official website of the University i.e. bfuhs.ac.in

• After that, the candidates need to click on the “PPMET-2024” link.

• Then click on “INDIVIDUAL’S RESULT”.

• Now enter your roll number.

• Finally, download the result and take a copy of it for further use.

PPMET Counselling 2024

In order to appear for PPMET Counselling, the candidates need to register themselves after the announcement of the result. To fill-up the counselling form candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below:-

• First, candidates will visit the Official Web site of Punjab PMET 2024.

• The applicants must click on the "Punjab PMET 2024 Counseling" link. After clicking on the link, candidates will receive detailed details about the counselling schedule and dates.

• Candidates need to fill the counselling form by entering all their personal details, contact information and PPMET Result.

• After filling up the PPMET Counselling form candidates will need to Counselling Fee via Credit/ Debit/ Net Banking or Bank Challan

• After paying the counselling fee, candidates need to take a print out of the counselling form and payment receipt.

Note:-

• At the time of admission, the candidates must carry all the necessary documents to the allocated college with them.

• In Government College and Private College, the reservation for the candidates from a different group is different.

Documents Required for PPMET Counselling 2024

The list of documents to be submitted at the time of PPMET Counselling is given below:-

• Certificate and Marksheet of Class 10th Class

• Certificate and Marksheet of Class 12th Class

• PPMET Admit Card 2024

• PPMET Result 2024

• Migration Certificate.

• Character Certificate.

• Domicile Certificate or Residence certificate in Punjab

• Category certificate for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/Other categories

• Passport size photographs.

• Online Payment Fee

• Gap Certificate (if any)
