Expanded as the School of Fashion Technology Common Entrance Exam, SOFT CET is held by MKSSS's School of Fashion Technology to offer design admissions to aspiring candidates. The exam is designed to shortlist deserving candidates and provide them with a seat in the design programmes offered.

As per the previous year's record, the application process of SOFT CET 2022 is likely to start from April 2022 onwards. The online exam is expected to be held in July 2022 and aspirants are provided with the convenience to pick the desired date while filling the application form.

SOFT CET 2022 is conducted annually and includes three stages:

• Stage 1 - Online Test
• Stage 2 - Group Discussion/ Studio Test
• Stage 3 - Personal Interview

SOFT CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

To register for admission at the School of Fashion Technology, Pune, an individual must meet the following SOFT CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

SOFT CET 2022 Application Process

The application form of SOFT CET is released online and candidates must register before the deadline ends to participate in the admission process. Here are a few steps explaining the SOFT CET Application Process in detail:

Step 1: Visit the official website of SOFT.

Step 2: Find the link ‘Common Entrance Test’ and click on it.

Step 3: Identify your desired course and click on ‘Download Form’.

Step 4: Enter your name, e-mail address and contact number.

Step 5: Click on ‘Download Form’.

Step 6: Fill-in all the required information on the SOFT CET 2022 application form and make the payment.

SOFT CET 2022 Application Fees

The registration fee of SOFT CET needs to be paid either online or through a Demand Draft in order to complete the application process. It is non-negotiable and non-refundable. SOFT CET 2022 Exam Pattern

The SOFT CET exam comprises a General Ability Test (GAT) followed by a Studio Test and Personal Interview. The exam pattern of SOFT CET GAT has been elaborated below:

SOFT CET 2022 Selection Process

The selection process of SOFT CET 2022 includes a General Ability Test, Studio Test and Personal Interview for shortlisting candidates. All the rounds are conducted on the same day selected by the applicant through an online mode only.

Applicants are advised to keep the colours of any medium (colour pencils, wax crayons, poster colours, sketch pens etc.), eraser, drawing pencils etc. ready beforehand for the studio round.

SOFT CET 2022 Admit Card

The admit card of SOFT CET 2022 is released on the official website only for those candidates who have successfully registered themselves for the exam. No hard copy of the admit card is sent through the post. Applicants would not be allowed to sit for the exam without the SOFT CET 2022 Admit Card.

The details mentioned in the admit card are the registration number, name of the parents, details of the candidate and exam schedule. If any of the information mentioned on the hall ticket is incorrect, candidates must quickly bring it to the notice of the authorities.

SOFT CET Result 2022

The result of SOFT CET 2022 is released on the official website of MSSS’s SOFT, Pune in the form of a merit list. It carries the names of the aspirants who have successfully qualified the exam.

After the declaration of the SOFT CET Merit List 2022, candidates are provided with a deadline of 4 days to confirm their interest in taking admission at MSSS’S SOFT, Pune. They are required to send a mail regarding the same to admission@soft.ac.in and cc it to admin@soft.ac.in . If an individual fails to do so, his/ her candidature may shift to the waiting list of candidates.
