Steps to Challenge JEE Main 2025 Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main Provisional answer key for April session on April 12, 2025, and allowed the test takers to challenge the JEE Mains key till April 13, 2025. However, to challenge the answer key, candidates had to submit proof of discrepancy in the question and also pay the JEE Main answer key challenging fee, which is INR 200. On the other hand the JEE Main result 2025 was released after the scrutiny of the objections on April 18, 2025, along with the JEE Main Final Answer Key 2025.

Step 1: Once the answer key of JEE Main is released, the candidates need to Sign In to the official website of JEE Main, i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in. The candidates need to enter their Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security PIN. After entering these details click on ‘Sign In’.

Step 2: The candidates need to click on the ‘JEE Mains Challenge Answer Key’ link.

Step 3: Questions with ID Numbers and Correct Responses (by NTA) shall be displayed on the screen.

Step 4: The candidates need to choose the correct option which he/ she feels. The candidates need to mark his/ her options. Click on ‘Submit’.

Step 7: After uploading the supporting documents, the candidates will have to pay the processing fee through digital payment methods.

With 80.97 percentile in JEE Main, and if you belong to the OBC category, your CRL rank is likely around 2.2 to 2.4 lakh, and your OBC rank could be around 80,000 to 90,000. This rank may not be sufficient for admission to top NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs through JoSAA, especially in core branches like Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. However, you may have a slight chance in lower-ranked or newer GFTIs or home state quota colleges, depending on your state of eligibility.
