Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University offers a wide variety of law courses. TNDALU merit list 2023 for Round 1 was released on June 26, 2023 followed by the release of the Round 2 merit list on July 17, 2023. The University has released the Round 1 cutoff marks for TNDALU released on June 16, 2023 and Round 2 on July 14, 2023. The cutoffs for the 5-year Integrated law courses for Schools of Excellence in Law and Affiliated Law Schools have been discussed below. However, the 3-year and the LL.M courses cutoff will be published by the university soon.
Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University often goes by the name TNDALU. The university releases its merit list along with cut-off marks prior to the counselling process. The merit list of TNDALU is category-specific and students are invited to the counselling process based on their merit score. Different merit lists are released for the School of Excellence in Law and affiliated Law colleges.
The university sends a call letter through speed post in order to invite the selected applicants to the counselling process. If a student who meets the cut-off criteria of LLB, integrated LL.B , or LLM, does not receive the call letter, he/she is also eligible to attend the counselling session on the scheduled day.

Documents Required for TNDALU Counselling Process 2023
Once the merit list has been published and aspirants have received their call letters for counselling, it becomes important to keep all the required documents handy. The documents that are required in order to participate in the counselling process of TNDALDU are as follows.
- 4 to 8 passport-sized photographs
- All required and relevant medical documents

Key Features of TNDALU Merit List 2023
The important features associated with the merit list of TNDALU have been given below.
The merit list of TNDALU is issued along with the cut-off marks.
Separate merit lists will be published for separate rounds of counselling.
Separate TNDALU merit lists will be published for admission at affiliated Law Colleges, participating colleges accepting TNDALU scores and the School of Excellence in Law.
The aggregate marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying exam will be the criteria for merit list selection.
The counselling call letters are sent through speed post to the candidates who have made it to the merit list.
If an applicant whose name is present on the merit list does not get the counselling letter, he/she can still attend the counselling process on the date and time prescribed by the university. The candidate will have to produce all the necessary documents during the time of verification of documents.
15% of the total seats will be reserved for NRI candidates.
The admission or merit list-related queries of an applicant will be addressed by the examination board member.
