Fulfilling the AIIMS MBBS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Apart from obtaining the minimum qualifying marks in the NEET UG exam, candidates must also fulfill other eligibility requirements. Candidates for the NEET UG exam must be older than 17 years as of December 31 of the year of admission. It is also mandatory for the candidates to have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects. Each question carries 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

AIIMS Counselling and Seat Allocation

A merit list will be prepared by AIIMS based on NEET scores where the names of those candidates who meet the cut-off scores are included. Candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank, preferences, and availability of seats. Allocation of seats will be done based on various categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, and PWD). There will be different cut-off scores for NEET each year on the basis of the difficulty of the exam and other factors. After appearing for the counselling process, candidates must pay the admission fees to confirm their seats.

The NEET UG results 2024 will be made available on June 13, 2024, tentatively, on the official website, @ neet.nta.nic.in . Candidates must obtain the minimum qualifying cutoffs specified by the AIIMS institutes to seek MBBS admission 2024.
