The Teachers’ Recruitment Board of Tripura released the official dates of Tripura TET 2025. Candidates who look forward to applying for Tripura TET 2025 need to be aware of all the important dates related to the exam. Tripura TET 2025: Eligibility Criteria

The Teachers’ Recruitment Board of Tripura releases a set of eligibility criteria for Tripura TET every year. Candidates are required to fulfill these conditions to be permitted to sit for the examination. The applicants who wish to appear for the exam must make sure that they qualify the eligibility criteria for Tripura TET 2025. Those who fail at doing so will neither be allowed to appear for the exam nor be considered for recruitment. The eligibility criteria for Tripura TET are given below.

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• The applicant must be a Tripura resident and possess a Tripura Permanent Resident Certificate.
• The NCTE notification will be followed by the necessary academic and professional requirements.
• They must have obtained at least a 50% grade in class XII-12.
• They must have earned a degree (for T TET 2023 Paper I and II).
• Candidates from the SC, ST, and PH categories would have their qualifying marks relaxed by up to 5%.
• There will be no restriction on an applicant's age for the Teacher Eligibility Test.

Tripura TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Lower Primary Classes

Tripura TET Paper 1

TET Paper 1 is designed for the candidates who are interested in teaching students of class I to V. Check out the eligibility criteria given here and ensure you match all the points.

Candidates must have secured 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

They should have scored at least 45% marks in Senior Secondary as well as 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name) as per NCTE Regulations 2002 or 1 year Diploma in Education for the academic session up to 2004-05.

The candidates should have pursued a 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) and scored at least 50% marks.

The candidates should have completed a 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education).

Candidates should have pursued Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1 year Diploma in Education for the academic session upto 2004-05) by any name.

B.ED candidates with 50% marks can also apply for the exam

Tripura TET Paper-2

Paper 2 is designed for those candidates who will be teaching students from class VI to VIII. The eligibility criteria for these candidates is as follows.

For Tripura TET Paper 2, candidates must be graduate with a 3-year Diploma in Elementary Education. In addition, graduation with minimum 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree is also compulsory

Candidates should have completed graduation with minimum 45% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations applicable.

If a candidate has Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) degree, then they can apply for TET.

Candidates securing 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and 4-year BA / B.Sc. Ed or BA. Ed / B.Sc. Ed are also eligible to appear for Tripura TET.

Candidates having graduation with minimum 50% marks and Bachelor of Education in Special Education (B.Ed.) also are eligible.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories are provided relaxation upto 5% in qualifying marks.

Tripura TET 2025: Application Form

Tripura TET 2025 Application Form was released online. Teachers Recruitment Board is the conducting authority to conduct the Tripura TET 2025 exam. The exam contains two papers, the first paper will be for candidates who wish to become a teacher of class I-V. On the other hand, the second paper is for candidates who desire to become a teacher for classes VI-VII. Those who are qualified and wish to apply for the exam will complete the application form online. Visit the official website to register for the test. Anyone interested in applying for a position at the upper primary or lower primary level may do so.

• First, go to the Tripura Teacher's Recruitment Board's official website (TRBT).
• Register on the official website by providing the necessary information.
• After entering your login information, fill out the application form completely and accurately with your personal and academic information.
• Upload the scanned files in the required format, including passport-sized photos and signatures.
• Use net banking or a debit/credit card to pay the application cost and upload the necessary documents online.
• Send in your application and keep the printed copy for future use.

Tripura TET 2025: Application Fee

The Tripura TET application fee for the exam is provided here. Those who apply and fill in the form will have to make payment of the specified fee at the time of the submission of the application form. The application fee of Tripura TET 2025 can be paid via net banking or by a debit card or credit card.

Tripura TET Admit Card 2025 was released online. Candidates downloaded and printed the Tripura TET admit card from trb.tripura.gov.in . The admit card had details such as the date of the Tripura TET exam, exam centre and instructions. Only the candidates who had completed the online application process before the last date and had paid the fee were able to download the Tripura TET admit card.

The T-TET Paper-I and Paper-II question papers will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, based on the relevant subjects and there will be no negative marking. The question papers will be available in both English and Bengali, except for language-specific papers. However, all OMR answer sheets and related instructions will be provided exclusively in English. In the event of any discrepancies or confusion between the English and Bengali versions of the question paper, the English version will be considered final and authentic.
