In Uttar Pradesh, the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow holds a state-level entrance test known as the UPSEE test or UPCET through which admission to different undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including the MCA degree, is provided. UPSEE or UPCET is a gateway examination for MCA aspirants in the state of Uttar Pradesh through which they can apply for admission in various institutions affiliated with the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow. General Eligibility	The applicants must have completed a qualifying examination from any recognized institution in Uttar Pradesh OR The applicants’ parents must be residents of Uttar Pradesh who have passed their qualifying examinations from outside of Uttar Pradesh. Such applicants must be needed to present their parents’ domicile certificate Applicants who have taken their qualifying exam from a school outside of Uttar Pradesh and whose parents are not residents of Uttar Pradesh can also apply Applicants who are scheduled to take their qualifying tests or who are yet to receive their results can also apply provided they have their results available with them until the document verification step

Calculus : Limit of functions, continuous function, differentiation of function, tangents and normals, simple examples of maxima and minima. Integration of functions by parts, by substitution and by partial fraction, definite integrals, applications of definite integrals to areas. Vectors : The position vector, addition and subtraction of vectors, scalar and vector products and their applications to simple geometrical problems and mechanics. Trigonometry : Simple identities, trigonometric equations, properties of triangles, solution of triangles, heights and distances, general solutions of trigonometric equations.
Section D (Computer Awareness)	Computer Basics : Organization of a computer, Central Processing Unit (CPU), the structure of instructions in CPU, input/output devices, computer memory, and back-up devices. Data Representation : Representation of characters, integers and fractions, binary and hexadecimal representations, binary arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, simple arithmetic and two’s complement arithmetic, floating-point representation of numbers, Boolean algebra, truth tables, Venn diagrams.

Uttar Pradesh (UPSEE) MCA Counselling Process 2023

The Uttar Pradesh (UPSEE) MCA counselling process is conducted after the declaration of the result and merit list by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for allocation of seats in the MCA programme offered by various participating universities. The UPCET MCA counselling process is an online process and is conducted in three rounds. After each round of counselling, the seat allotment result and vacant seat list are declared. During the counselling process, the candidates are given three options -

No, candidates will not receive UPCET 2022 admit cards through any of the offline modes. Admit cards will only be available at the official UPCET website.

Where should I send the hard copies of the filled-in UPCET 2022 application form?

UPCET 2022 Application forms will be submitted online only. There is no need to send hard copies.

Will UPCET 2022 offer admission into B. Tech courses?

No. From the academic year 2022-23, UPSEE (now called UPCET) will no longer be used for admission into B. Tech courses are offered by colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Instead, students will be admitted based on JEE Main scores.

Hello, Yes! LPU offers Hotel management programmes. LPU holds B.Sc in Hotel Management and also Offers Bachelors in Hotel Management and Catering Technology(BHMCT) as well which is a 4 year bachelors programme. The admission procedure for B.Sc. Hotel Management is to pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English and the admission is entirely on merit basis of the qualifying exam, and BHMCT also have the same eligibility criteria.
