Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) and/ or having a Master’s Degree in Science/ Social Science/ Humanity/ Commerce or Bachelor in Engineering/ Technology with a specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification are eligible for application. For the Shiksha Shastri program, applicants must have a 50% minimum mark in Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit as the main subject and a Master’s Degree in Sanskrit / Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra with 50% marks.
