What is XGMT Score?

The XGMT score is the raw score obtained by you on the exam. The raw score is basically the total sum of scores obtained in each section. There are four distinct sections with a total of 90 questions. The raw score is the total sum of the marks obtained in each section. The marking typically involves awarding +3 marks for every correct answer and negative 1 for an incorrect response.

If you want to achieve a percentile range between 91 and 95, it is important to meet the minimum qualifying score of each section in the XGMT 2025 exam. While an official source is not available, based on an expert analysis, a rough estimation can be made to help you understand how much score is needed to obtain a percentile range between 91 to 95 percentile. For instance, you should try and aim to answer 30 percent of questions correctly in the Verbal Ability section. In the Data Interpretation section, you must attempt at least 10 to 11 percent of questions accurately to qualify. You can attempt to answer a minimum of 25% of the questions correctly in the Quantitative Ability section, and lastly, an estimated 35-40% of questions must be attempted correctly in the Emotional Quotient and General Knowledge can help you achieve a score well within the 95 percentile range.

What is XGMT Percentile?

The XGMT percentile refers to how you have performed compared to others who took the exam. The following formula is used to measure the XGMT percentile:

Percentile = [(total number of candidates who scored less) ÷ (Total number of candidates)] × 100

Just like in any standardized exam, your percentage will be divided by the total number of candidates scoring less with the total number of candidates who appeared for the exam which is further multiplied by 100. The rank will be determined by the raw score you have obtained in the XGMT exam which will determine your performance and percentile ranking.

XGMT 2025 Cutoff (Expected Trends)
