XGMT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for X-GMT 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any discipline from an accredited university.
  • For the Master of Business Finance (MBF) program, a minimum aggregate score of 60% is required, while all MBA programs require a minimum aggregate of 55%.
  • Candidates currently in the final year of their undergraduate program are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates may apply directly to the MBA in Rural Management (MBA-RM) and MBA in Urban Management & Governance (MBA-UMG) programs without a valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/XGMT score if they have secured the first, second, or third rank in their undergraduate program.
  • Applicants must attach a certificate from the Head of their Institution verifying their rank to their application. However, they will still need to participate in the Personal Interview round.
  • Admission will be automatically revoked if candidates do not meet all the requirements for obtaining their degree by June 15, 2025.
  • After enrolling in a program at Xavier University, candidates are not permitted to sit for an exam administered by another organization or university.

XGMT 2025 Application Form

To take the exam, X-GMT candidates must submit an online application for X-GMT 2025. Candidates must pay INR 1800 for the first option and 400 INR each for the subsequent options. Candidates who intend to take the X-GMT in 2025 must pay an additional application fee of INR 1200. You can use Net Banking, a credit card, or a debit card to pay the XGMT 2025 application fees.

XGMT 2025 Exam Pattern

The X-GMT 2025 exam pattern refers to the number of sections, mode of the exam, and marking scheme. 

Mode: The mode of the exam is online. XIM University is responsible for conducting the Xavier Institute of Management General Management Aptitude Test as a Computer Based Test. 

Duration: The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. 

Number of sections: There are four sections: Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA & LR), Data Interpretation (DI), Emotional Quotient and General Awareness (EQ & GA). 
The four sections will appear in a random sequence. Sectional time limits are there in the XGMT 2025 exam, which implies a candidate is required to complete a section within a stipulated time. If a situation arises where a candidate has completed a section early, it is mandatory for him/her to wait for the next section to begin. The candidate will not be allowed to go back to the already completed section. 

Type of questions: There will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the X-GMT 2025 question paper.

Language of question paper: The X-GMT question paper 2025 will be in English language only.

Marking Scheme: +3 marks are awarded for one correct answer.
                                1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.
                                No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.

The admit card of the X-GMT exam includes a candidate’s roll number, exam center, exam date, and timing. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the XGMT 2024 admit card along with other documents mentioned on the admit card to the exam center, on the day of the exam.

Candidates must go to the Xavier University, Bhubaneswar, official website, xim.edu.in, and log in using their X-GMT credentials (user ID and password), which were created during the application process. After logging in, they will be led to the option for downloading the admit card. Applicants must download the X-GMT Admit Card 2025, take several printouts, and keep them safe until the admissions process is complete.
