Samia Miraj has been writing, reading, and creating since she was 14 and had little to no
knowledge of how professional writers do their work. She had a great interest in art and all of
the things related to writing and creating something from scratch. Her talent for writing came
from her great grandparents, who were poets of the family. When she started professionally
writing in the year 2019 she started everything from zero. She never really had professional
guidance earlier in her career because of the lack of opportunities that come with living in a
small town. She started working as a freelancer just before the pandemic and when the whole
world was confined into a small room, forced to live in 4 walls, she was traveling the world
virtually working for clients all over the globe.
Talking about her education, she will be successfully completing her bachelors in commercial
studies in 2022. Education was always interesting for her and she always thrived to learn more
and more. Her favorite subject was obviously English and the one thing that she really liked to
do was to read all of the stories even in her English course book and learn them by heart.
Reading has always been her most loved hobby. She likes to read recently published books
recommended on the internet in her free time or if she does not have free time then she makes
time and reads those books even if she is busy. Her bookshelf is always flooded with recently
published books by renowned authors like Madeline Miller and Emily Henry. She likes to read
stories that are teary but are still fulfilling.
In her teenage years, she had also randomly written a book and published it online which you
can still find to date listed on the particular website. She was also very introverted and was not
someone who had a lot of friends so she kept a diary and always was scribbling something or
the other in it. She still holds her teenage diaries and journals possessively and refuses to give
them up because of how much memory they hold of her and her teenage. She is also known as
a poet in her friend circles and there is always some or the other friend asking her to write a
poem for them.
She always had a keen interest in writing poetry and she is still submitting and participating in
poetry competitions every now and then however winning these competitions is never her goal.
Her main goal is to write a piece of poetry that is moving enough for all poetry lovers.
Talking about her experience, Samia started writing for clients just after she finished her
schooling and this newfound hobby was very interesting for her because in her small town there
weren't many writers who were doing this job at that time. She started writing after a friend told
her about her new startup and she was appointed as a news writer by the courtesy of her friend.
Her skills started developing after she started writing regularly on the new website and this job
was also very interesting for her because she particularly enjoyed writing pieces that gave
information to people on a daily basis.

She started finding new clients in the year 2020 and this helped her to build a very strong client
base which gives her work all year long. She really enjoys talking to new people and
understanding the different aspects related to content writing and how diverse it can be. She
has discovered many things about herself since she started writing content and one thing that
she is now very familiar with is that she really enjoys imparting the knowledge that she has
learned to other people so that they can use the knowledge to their advantage.
She has also previously worked together with two Ed-Tech companies which helped her to
become a content writer at CollegeDekho. She had always worked as a freelancer but now she
is exploring different options and trying different ways to build their career. She hopes to find the
best thing for herself in this adventure at CollegeDekho. At CollegeDekho, she aspires to work
hard and provide each and every piece of information related to education and other such news
to the students taking major steps in their life.
