Hi, It particularly depends on the particular programme which you want to pursue you admission. There are some of the programmes in LPU in which entrance exam is not necessary but in most of the programmes entrance exam is mandatory. For example most of the B.Tech programmes offered at LPU requires LPUNEST exam as part of eligibility but where as in BBA programme admission criteria is entirely based on the merit basis. So it solemnly depends on the programme that you choose to pursue. But in my personnel opinion i would suggest you to attend LPUNEST exam maybe it doesn't count for eligibility but it serves you in better scholarship benefits thats why.

Hi, taking admission in LPU with or without LPUNEST entrance test depends upon that particular course eligibility criteria. For example, if you want to take admission in B. Tech program, the entrance test is compulsory for all. and if you want to take admission in computer Application or Commerce related course, than the entrance exam is not compulsory for eligibility purpose. but can proceed with the test for scholarship purpose.

It depends on the course you wish to pursue, as for some courses LPU provides admission on the basis of merit from your last qualifying examination. These programmes include Diploma in Engineering, BA, BBA, B.Sc Botany, B.Com, B.P.Ed, BFA, M.Sc Geography, M.Com, M.Sc (Hons) Economics, M.P.Ed, MA, MFA, etc. Other than these, LPU admission based on merit is also available for lateral entry courses. For these LPU courses, no entrance exam score is required, however, you can take the LPUNEST exam, which will be only for scholarship purposes. If you are willing to take admission in B.Tech, B.Des, BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLB, MBA, M.Tech, LLM, etc. at LPU valid entrance exam scores are required in exams such as JEE Main, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, LPUNEST, etc.
