Dear Student,
The NEET PG 2024 Cutoff has been higher this year in comparison to previous year's data. Therefore, if you've secured a NEET PG 2024 Rank of 108540, it is highly unlikely that you will be eligible to apply for medical postgraduate courses in government medical colleges under NEET PG. To secure a seat across the government medical colleges with NEET PG 2024 qualification, the required cutoff marks is 291 for General Category, 274 for General PwBD Category, and 257 for SC/ST/OBC (including PwBD Candidates). Therefore, candidates who have secured higher than the range of the minimum marks required, will be given preference in the NEET PG seat allotment process over the others.
However, there are some colleges which offer admission to candidates who have secured a low NEET PG Score, and in the range of 100000 to 500000. Moreover, in case a candidate secures a low NEET PG Rank in the entrance exam and miss out on the chance of securing admission to government medical colleges, they may always apply to private medical colleges for their desired course admission. Some of these colleges are Amrita School of Medicine in Faridabad, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences in Dehradun, SGT University in Gurgaon, Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research in Wardha, Amrita School of Medicine in Kochi, JSS Medical College, Mysore in Karnataka, and many others.
Thank you.
