No!! The university holds several scholarship schemes for the students along various disciplines thus reducing the educational cost of the programmes thus holding hand with the parents in securing their wards future in a better way. The university holds their own entrance exam called the LPUNEST exam which serves as both the eligibility and also helps in securing the better scholarship benefits on the basis of marks obtained at the exam. The university also offers other scholarship offers like percentage in the previous qualification, along with some of the special scholarship like sports, culturals and some financial aid for the need students as well. Lovely Professional University (LPU)can be considered affordable compared to many other private Universities. Especially in terms of the quality of education and campus facilities it offers. LPU offers a scholarship with a good academic performance in their 12th grade exams or national entrance exams like JEE mains .LPU also offers sports scholarship ,cultural scholarship and financial assistance to students from economically weaker backgrounds. Dear student, 

The fee structure of LPU ranges between Rs 10,000 to Rs 2.5 Lakh per semester for different courses. The fees may seem high for professional courses such as B.Tech and MBA but fees for many courses is affordable like BA, MA, and M.Com. B.Tech is the most popular course offered at LPU and its fee ranges between Rs 11,20,000 to Rs 16,00,000 for four years. On the other hand, fees for MA range between Rs 20,000 to Rs 1,00,000 for two years. 

Moreover, LPU offers various concessions on fees based on LPU NEST score. The fee becomes affordable If you qualify for the cutoff for LPU NEST. There are several scholarships available to help students. Lastly, the affordability depends from student to student.
