UPSEE is a popular state level examination which is conducted for admission in B.Tech courses in colleges affiliated to AKTU. UPSEE 2020 examination is scheduled to be conducted on September 20, 2020. Candidates who are going to appear in the examination this year must prepare well based on UPSEE Paper Pattern and Syllabus. It is advisable that the student follows a Day-Wise Preparation Strategy to perform well in UPSEE 2020 examination.
Once the UPSEE examination is conducted successfully, students can attend the counselling process which is conducted in online mode. There are three rounds of UPSEE counselling process to grab a seat in one of the participating colleges.

Alternative Exams other than UPSEE
Apart from UPSEE, there are three other ways by which a candidate can get admission in B.Tech courses at private colleges in the Uttar Pradesh States. These are as follows:
JEE Mains Entrance Examination
Institute specific examinations like SRMJEE, AMITY JEE etc.
Direct admission under management quota
Apart from JEE mains and UPSEE, the candidates can also take Institute specific examinations to get admission in particular colleges. SRMJEE is a national level examination which is conducted for admission in participating colleges of SRM including SRM Ghaziabad. AMITY JEE also conducts its own Computer-based Test for admission in B.Tech courses at the university.
Another way to get admission in a private college is through management quota. There are few seats in every private college for direct admission under management quota. These seats are filled on a first come first serve basis. Students who do not have an entrance examination scorecard can apply for admission under management seats. The students can directly contact the college/ Institute for admission through management quota.
How to Get Admission without UPSEE Scorecard or Rank
Students who are not well prepared for the UPSEE examination which is scheduled to be conducted on May 10, 2020, need not worry. There are various good private colleges in Uttar Pradesh State that offers admission through management quota. Seats under management quota are offered to students are reserved for only a few candidates only.
Management quota seats are also referred to as institutional quota seats. Candidates can get admission through management quota without any entrance examination scorecard. It is a special provision offered by private engineering colleges for direct admission.
Candidates who want to take admission under management quota can directly contact the Institute/ College of their choice for all inquiries related to management quota admission. The advantage of admission through management quota is that the chances of the candidate to get admission in desired college and preferred branch increases.
Eligibility Criteria to Get Admission without UPSEE Scorecard or Rank
If a candidate wants to take admission under management quota then he/ she must meet the following eligibility criteria:
The candidate must have passed Class 12th with at least 45%- 50% marks in PCM.
Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics must be the compulsory subjects in Class 12th.
Students from CBSE, ICSE, State board or NIOS board are eligible to apply.
Admission without UPSEE Scorecard or Rank- Important Points
Here are the highlights associated with admissions without UPSEE Scorecard or Rank:
Candidates can get admission under management quota in private colleges without UPSEE Scorecard or Rank.
20% to 30% of the total seats are reserved under management quota in most of the private colleges. The seats are legal and students who are willing for admission under management quota can directly contact the college/ Institute.
First-year fees for students who take admission under management quota may be high. However, extra fees are charged for infrastructure and overall maintenance of the college/ institute.
