CTET 2021 Paper 2 is conducted for candidates aspiring to teach classes 6 to 8. Check the details about the nature & standard of questions that will be asked in Paper 2 of CTET.

CTET 2021 Paper 2 pattern

CTET 2021 exam dates are out and the exam will be conducted from December 16, 2021, to December 13, 2022 . The exam will be conducted for two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 in CTET 2021 exam will be for the teachers who aspire to teach students from classes 1 to 4 and Paper 2 will be for the teachers who aspire to teach students from classes 6 to 8. The CTET exam pattern for Paper 2 will help the candidates understand what types of questions are asked in the exam which will further help them to prepare accordingly.

CTET 2021 Paper 2 Nature & Standard of Questions

The nature and standard of the CTET 2021 paper 2 exam has been explained through the points listed below:

  • The Child Development & Pedagogy section of the Paper 2 will attempt to test the candidate’s skills & ability in terms of educational psychology of teaching and learning for the age group of 11-14 years. This section of the paper will evaluate if the candidates are proficient in understanding the needs, characteristics, and psychology of interaction with learners, diverse learners, and qualities of a good teacher.

  • The language I and language II section of the paper has been designed in such a way that it evaluates the proficiency of the students in terms of comprehension, language ability, and communication in the respective languages.

  • The candidates can choose any of the available languages for the Language II section but it has to be different than that in Language I.

  • The Mathematics and Science will be for the teachers who are willing to become Mathematics and Science teachers and Social Studies/Social Science will be for the teachers who are willing to become Social Studies/Social Science teachers.

  • Through these sections, the candidates will be evaluated on the basis of problem-solving abilities, applicability, and conceptual understanding of the subjects.

  • The test items of Mathematics and Science will be 30 marks each.

  • The test items will be evenly distributed over different divisions of the syllabus of that subject as prescribed for classes VI-Vlll by the NCERT.

  • Though the syllabus will be on the basis of the NCERT syllabus, the difficulty level of the paper will be of senior secondary level.

Dear Student,

The B.Ed programme offered by SRSV College of Education cannot be pursued in distance/online mode as this is a regular programme. The course has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The annual fee for this programme Rs 25,000 and the course span is 2 years.

There is no clear mention of the MA course on the official website of Bhau Rao Deoras Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya. At present, the admissions are open only for undergraduate courses which include BA, B.Sc, and, B.Com. However, you are advised to also contact the official admission helpdesk of Bhau Rao Deoras Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya for further information on the same.
