The entire schedule of CUCET 2022 will be made available on the official website of the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CU-CET).
CUCET 2022 is an all-India entrance exam for admission to a number of Undergraduate/ Integrated (UI) and Post Graduate (PG) programmes. The exam is conducted for aspirants who want to pursue UG, PG and research programmes offered by central universities of Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Kashmir, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Jammu, etc. CUCET 2021 will be conducted in LAN Based mode i.e CBT (Computer Based Test).
Candidates may apply for CUCET 2022 via online mode by visiting its official website. For UG and PG programmes, candidates must pay Rs. 800 (General/OBC/EWS) or Rs. 350 (SC/ST) and for RP, applicants are required to pay Rs. 1,000 (General/OBC/EWS) or Rs. 450 (SC/ST). CUCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to any of the undergraduate, postgraduate or research programmes must see if they meet the criteria mentioned below:
CUCET Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate (UI) Courses 2022
- For candidates belonging to the General category, the minimum pass percentage is at least 50% marks in class 10+2.
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates must have scored not less than 45% marks in aggregate in class 12.
- In class 12, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. This shall vary from course to course.
CUCET Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate (PG) Courses 2022
- Candidates belonging to the General category must have scored at least 55% marks in their graduation from a recognised university.
- SC/ST/OBC/PWD category candidate must have obtained not less than 50% marks in their graduation from a recognised university.
CUCET 2022 Admission Process
Admissions to any of the CUCET 2022 Participating Universities is based on the admission procedure conducted by them for their respective programmes. After the announcement of CUCET 2022 Results, the respective universities will declare their admission or counselling schedule. Following that, merit lists will be released based on the weightage of CUCET 2022 score. Other criteria of the participating universities will also be considered.
For some universities, the admission counselling process will be conducted online with additional fees.
