What's new in JEE Main 2025 Registration?
NTA has introduced one change in the JEE Main 2025 Application Process to allow candidates to choose their preferred mode of registration. Applicants can use their Aadhar Number/ PAN/ ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credit ID)/ Passport Number to register online.

All candidates must check JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2025 before applying for JEE Mains Registration 2025. To apply for JEE Main 2025 , you can follow the detailed application process outlined below. Candidates must follow the JEE Main Application Form 2025 Instructions specified by NTA to complete the registration process successfully and appear for the examination.
1. Online Registration:
Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) or the designated portal for JEE Mains. Look for the registration link and create an account if you are a new user. If you already have an account, log in using your credentials. 2. Fill out the application form:
Provide the required personal information, such as your name, date of birth, contact details, and educational qualifications. Make sure to enter accurate and verifiable information.
Select the preferred JEE Main exam paper (Paper I/II or Both), language mode.
Personal details - name, parent's name, birth date, gender, ID type etc.
Contact details - residential/ correspondence address, mobile number, email ID etc.
Choose a password and security question (Password must have 8 to 13 characters, of which at least one Upper case, one Lower case alphabet, one special character, and one numeric value)
3. Upload documents:
Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-sized photograph, signature, and any other supporting documents as specified in the JEE Main Application Form 2025 Instructions. The documents should meet the prescribed format and size criteria.
Following are the guidelines required to follow while filling up the JEE Main Application Form 2025 have been listed below.
The image of the candidate should be clicked on a white background clicked by a professional.
Candidates should look straight in a relaxed posture looking directly at the camera.
It is preferred not to click the picture with the flash on. If the image is clicked with a flash, the photographer has to make sure that there is no red eye.
Wearing spectacles and clicking the image is permitted only if there are no reflections and the eyes are clear.
Candidates wearing caps, hats, and dark glasses in pictures will be prohibited.
Religious headwear is allowed but the face should be clear.
Candidates are advised to keep 6 to 8 photographs extra on the day of JEE Main 2025 exam, seat allocation process, and admission.
If the file size of the photograph is more than 200 kb, adjust the scanner settings including colour depth and DPI resolution while scanning.
The signature of the candidate must be uploaded in the form of JPG/ JPEG only.
It is recommended that candidates should use a black pen and it should be written on white paper.
The signature should be uploaded by the candidate and their mother/ father/ guardian. No other person’s signature will be entertained.
The candidate should match the signature uploaded on the JEE Main 2025 Application Form and attendance sheet
