TS LAWCET 2024 counselling process requires candidates to upload certain documents in the prescribed format during the counselling application form filling.
All the candidates have to ensure that the documents provided by them are valid and authentic. If authorities found that any of the documents attached are illegal, then the candidates have to face serious repercussions, such as disqualification from the counselling process or cancellation of candidature.

Given below is the complete list of all the documents that are required for the TS LAWCET 2024 counselling process. Candidates who have passed the entrance exam and whose names appear on the merit list can participate in the counselling process by submitting the necessary documents. The admission will be put on hold or cancelled for those who fail to submit the important documents on time.

In case a student does not have his/ her mark sheet due to some reason, he/ she will be given provisional admission after producing a written statement from the principal of the school. The candidate will be allowed to appear for the semester exams only after he/ she has submitted all the documents by then.

Caste Certificate | The candidates who fall under various reserved categories such as SC, ST, and OBC (Category 1) have to submit their respective caste certificates that are issued by the concerned Jurisdictional Tehsildar. They will be provided admission for the reserved seats only upon producing the correct certificate. |
Income Certificate | The income certificate is to be submitted by candidates whose total annual family income is less than Rs. 8 lacs per annum. The students of the GM, CAT-1, SC and ST categories must obtain separate income certificates. These certificates will be accepted only if they are issued by the concerned Tehsildar. |
Telugu Medium Certificate | All the students who belong to the state of Telangana or have completed their schooling from a Telugu medium school from class 1 to 10 will be required to submit the medium certificate. The certificate should be issued by the Head of the respective educational institution and countersigned by the respective DDPI/ BEO. |
Domicile Certificate | The students who have lived in the state of Telangana for 7 years or more are eligible to apply under the category of domicile candidates. Some seats are reserved for Telangana domicile candidates and in order to apply for admission through this category, the candidates will have to produce a valid domicile certificate. |
Rural Study Certificate | The rural study certificate is to be submitted by the candidates who have spent at least ten full academic years (from standard 1 to 10) at any recognised rural educational institution. It should be issued by the head of the educational institution and countersigned by the respective DDPI/ BEO. These candidates will also have to submit an income certificate issued by the concerned Tehsildar. |
Affidavit | An affidavit signed by the candidate is required in case he/ she wishes to apply for any additional reservation or scholarship. Those who have a gap year after class 12th will also be required to submit an affidavit stating they did not take admission to any other college/ university in their gap year. |
Documents of Parents | Parents' study certificates/ Parents' domicile certificate/ Parents' hometown certificate/ Parents' employment certificate/ Parents' mark sheets/ Parents' degrees etc., are to be submitted by candidates seeking eligibility for the government seats based on the domicile/ education/ employment of their parents. |
Identity Card | An identity card that is issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner/ Rehabilitation Commissioner/ District Magistrate is required to be submitted by the candidates claiming eligibility for the government seats under the quota of Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants. |

Important Instructions Regarding TS LAWCET 2024 Counselling Process
For a smooth and easy counselling process experience, it is important for all the candidates to follow the guidelines given below related to the TS LAWCET 2024.
- Firstly, all the candidates who have qualified the entrance exam, must not delay filling the counselling application form, which can be easily be downloaded from the official website of the exam conducting body.
- Next, all the candidates have to mandatorily pay the application fee before the due date in order to participate in the counselling process.
- Candidates have to submit authentic documents during the counselling crosses for verification purposes. Providing illegal documents may lead to cancellation of candidature or disqualification from the counselling process.
- All the participants have to fill the counselling application form and pay the counselling application fee every time they appear for a subsequent counselling round.
- While filling the counselling application form, students have to exercise web options and mark their choices in order of preference. Students while making choices must be aware of location, fees, placements, faculty, curriculum etc of the desired participating institution.
- Moreover, students must lock their choices before the due date, forgetting or missing locking of choices will lead to the last option getting locked automatically which will then be considered a candidates first preference. Students can edit their choices multiple times before the due date.
- Students must be available on the allocated counselling date and time.
- All the students who have been allocated a seat and are satisfied with it must not delay the college reporting process for further admission formalities and to confirm their seats.
- All the students who have not been allocated a seat in the first round or are not satisfied with the seat allocated to them in the first round can participate in subsequent counselling rounds.
