. ICAR can publish the ICAR ranking of agricultural universities 2023 at any time from now. We will update and provide the ICAR ranking of agricultural universities 2022 on this page as soon as the ICAR releases the ICAR ranking of agricultural universities 2023. Meanwhile, candidates can check the ICAR ranking of agricultural universities of 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, and 2017 from this page.
Agricultural courses have been in high demand for a decade. Most of the students are aspiring to enroll in Agricultural courses in recent times. Agriculture and Horticulture courses have attracted a large number of students. Every year lakhs of students are getting graduated from various agricultural universities in India. All the aspirants of agricultural courses in India indeed appear for ICAR AIEEA (UG) , ICAR AIEEA (PG), ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D) or any State-level entrance exam conducted by state agricultural universities.
However, every aspirant would prefer to choose the best and top agricultural university. The ICAR Agricultural Universities System of India consists of 75 agricultural universities out of 64 State Agricultural, Veterinary, Horticultural, and Fisheries Universities (SAUs), four ICAR-DUs (IARI, IVRI, NDRI, and CIFE), and more Three central agricultural universities—the CAU in Imphal, the Dr. RPCAU in Pusa, and the RLBCAU in Jhansi—and four Central Universities - BHU, AMU, Viswa Bharati, and Nagaland University—have faculties of agriculture. India's National Agricultural Research, Education, and Extension System (NAREES) is one of the world's largest systems which provides a huge number of admissions to the aspirants of agricultural courses every year.

Ranking Parameters for Agriculture Universities in India
The ICAR started ranking Agricultural Universities with the primary objective of motivating the universities to raise their quality standards and increase their visibility so they can take part in international rankings. The ranking status enables the students to choose wisely, where they will enroll in universities. ICAR follows certain parameters to grade and rank the agriculture universities. The parameters and evaluation mechanism are provided here.
