NEET Delhi Cutoff 2025 Determining Factors

Several factors usually take part in determining the Delhi NEET 2025 cutoff scores. A glimpse of these influencing factors is provided below for all interested students to refer to:

  • Total Number of Registrations: One of the significant factors determining the NEET Delhi cutoff 2025 is the total number of NEET registrations. The higher the number of student registrations, the higher the exam competition level, and therefore, a higher cutoff for admission eligibility.
  • Total Number of Students Appeared in NEET: Another influencing factor to determine the NEET 2025 cutoff for Delhi is the total number of students who have appeared in the entrance exam. Often, the total number is less or more in comparison to the total registrations for that year.
  • NEET Exam Difficulty Level: The exam difficulty level of NEET plays a major role in determining the cutoff scores for a given year. The NEET Delhi cutoff 2025 scores are inversely proportional to the overall exam difficulty level. Therefore, if the NEET paper is difficult, then the cutoff can be lower.
  • Availability of Seats in the State: The total number of seats available in the state also affects the state cutoff scores of a year. The proportion of seats in the state is inversely proportional to the competition for admissions in medical colleges in the state.
  • Overall Students' Performance: In the NEET 2025 exam, students' performance in the state determines the cutoff scores for the academic year admission. The NTA authorities measure a matrix of toppers and failed students in the NEET exam, based on which the cutoff is decided by the authorities.
  • Previous Years' Cutoff Trends: The previous years' cutoff trends also influence the cutoff scores for any state. The cutoff trends can either be higher or lower for Delhi based on the previous years’ statistics.
  • NEET Reservation Criteria: Another important factor is the NEET reservation criteria set by the NTA for the 85% state quota seats. Students must make sure that they score the category-specific cutoff and satisfy the reservation policies for admissions to their desired colleges in Delhi.
